This video does a good job, but I really never got why there's such a hullabaloo about explaining how King Crimson works. Araki came up with another way of reinventing The World so he could have a Final Boss just as hard to fight. The user skips ahead through time; it's really that simple. Do people just not like that that's never explicitly stated?

How sad this is not Diavolo character in anime, I would love to see a waffel skipping and erasing time. Without dialog it's even more sinister.

the easiest way to explain king crimsons ability is that he can see around 10 seconds into the future which is sorta like a passive and his ability is that he can delete that future whenever so anything thats going to happen in the 10 second vision he saw will never just be erased from reality

Imo it's less time skip and more memory wiping everyone. The result of everything happening should include people remembering it, but they don't.

The best way I've found to wxplain it is that it doesn't erase time, just other people's perception of it.

I think it would have been helpful to also show it skipping straight to the end as if you didn't see it fall through the power either at the beginning or end of the video. As it is, it's just a video of the thing falling with sfx and a trippy filter, doesn't really explain it unless you already understand it.

It would have been a better represented if the waffle fell in the vision of his time erase but the original waffle stayed the same Since the strength of his ability is that he can erase his own fate, succumbing to his fate while in time erase completley contradicts the whole point of his ability.

Everyone else collectively blacks out, while the stand user becomes selectively intangible. That is the effect, while the mechanism is time shenanigans.

King crimson was totally easy to understand. It was dumb, but understandable. The ascended Golden Experience was just random nonsense just because.
