11:56 no offense taken ...After working at Disney even if u try not to u will always compare parks to Disney IMO. U guys have seen/worked in the BEST already (Toyko Disney is the ONLY thing better IMO)...hum beauty in America is BEST seen in our National Parks. God makes beauty that is incomparable.😊 sorry Hollywood and the surronding area is so run down. Sadly IMO the area is a facade...smoke and mirrors movies can HIDE all the things real life can NOT. The area is not mannaged well. As you see they still have tourist but the money is well ...the State has many issues ...as you research the area you will learn more than you want to know. Hope you guys take a train ride across the country next. California Zephyr Train and also take trips to the National Parks. blessing on your travels and memories

So sad to see what's happened to Santa Monica...going the way of San Francisco. Used to be so pretty there, cool shops, places to eat and really fun street performers. I'm sorry you saw it now. The homeless situation is a major problem !!!! We have it here too in San Diego.

You guys should go to Washington DC before you return home.

Glad you got to see the Pacific Ocean! I would have gone to either Huntington Beach or Newport Beach as they are only a 20 minute drive from Disneyland but overall you did well!

good for you Charlie I grew up there and so many people don't appreciate the wonderfulness of the big city and Hollywood and it really is a grand place. I'm so glad you like it and enjoyed it and that you stayed to feel the vibe. I think that was wonderful good for you for standing up and saying hey this is something I wanna do good for you. So happy for you all that you got to visit the Happiest Place on Earth! Next time you visit, consider the Park Vue Inn. It is family run and reasonably priced but most importantly, is actually closer to the park entrance than the Disneyland hotel. We have stayed there for decades and really appreciate the minimal walk back at the end of a long day of fun. But don’t tell anyone else about it 😊
