The Nolyverse
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 26 เม.ย. 2011
Hello everyone, I'm Nolan and the purpose of this channel is to bring entertainment through art, and skateboarding, and to also to teach and learn about coin collecting and precious metal investments. I will share paintings I make that I also put up for sale on my eBay store www.ebay.com/usr/nolysart. So if you see any you like you have the option to buy one of my pieces. So far I have over 100+ paintings listed, however all videos have been posted to my Instagram @thenolyverse incase you'd like to check those out as well. And although the last few years I haven't done much of it, I do plan on getting back into skating and sharing the experience with you guys as well. The channel will have those 3 main themes. Hopefully each, or all of them can gather an audience. I welcome all feedback, and hope you all enjoy my channel. Thank you to all those who show support!
New Year, New Silver. Apmex Purchase.
Happy New Year, everyone!
Welcome to the first video of 2025! I hope you all had an amazing New Year's celebration. While rewatching this, I noticed I said "be safe tonight" when I actually meant last nigh, New Year's Eve. Regardless, I hope it was a fantastic start to your year!
In today's video, I'm sharing my latest silver haul from @apmex , featuring an exclusive collection of junk silver coins. It’s not a massive order, but these pieces were perfect for putting together a video. I had planned to include a local coin shop (LCS) pickup as well, but unfortunately, I didn’t have time this week.
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! Let me know which pieces in today’s haul are your favorites. There's plenty more content on the way, and I’m excited to kick off 2025 with you all.
Lastly, a quick announcement: when I reach my first big milestone, I’ll be hosting a giveaway! Stay tuned for details as we get closer, but for now, enjoy the video, keep stacking, and stay awesome.
Cheers to an incredible year ahead! 🤘

The term “sea legs” in skateboarding refers to legs that haven't touched a board in a while and in my case, it's been at least a year (if not longer). Love the video but you lost me when you said that you didn't care much for the narc dogs how is that even possible
$40 isn't bad for that Morgan, especially given that it's only the second year of that coin. That's the kind that I typically buy these days, as well as the UNC version, but those typically cost anywhere from $40 to $50 and sometimes a bit more, if it's a lower mintage year. I typically try to stick with Morgans in better condition that are between $30 to $50. I do buy the Barber stuff when I see it for the right price, but I don't really stack 'em because they are so worn and low in Silver weight. So I always throw my older slicks like Barbers, Standing Liberty, and sometimes even Mercs & Walkers into one of my sellable stacks that insulate my core stack from having to be sold off. I think last year when I did inventory at the beginning of the year, I had between 16 to 18 ounces of older worn slicks. That's everything from Seated Liberty dimes all the way up to Barber and Walking Liberty halves. I bet I've added at least 2 or 3 ounces to them in the last year, but I haven't done my inventory for 2024. You've got some great pickups! You really can't go wrong buying Constitutional, as long as its for the right price. And you have to expect that certain pieces, like good conditions Morgans are going to go for a bit above the Junk price, but that's okay in my book. It's all Silver weight, and it's all your wealth in a non-liability wealth preservation account. It's immune to power outages, computer viruses, cyber crimes, bank failures, and currencies crises. The only liability or responsibility is on you to keep it safe, hidden, and protected. Great video, as always! Happy New Year! Keep pluggin' away......slow & steady wins the race!

@@monkeyman4131 appreciate you viewing and the feedback sir, and I am a fairly new stacker. Started in August of 2023, age 28. And I 100% agree, this is why I love feedback, because the community is always teaching me, even as I'm doing research for myself. It's a nice community to be a part of. And I use silver as exactly that, a savings account. I've only had to sell once and that's strictly due to hour cuts at my job. Fortunately now I won't have to worry about that 😎

Great video! Nice pickups too! Just curious what you paid for the dollar of Mercs. Those are all really nice Morgans! We're at about $2.40 a dollar here. Never been lower! 👍 Well done. Oh, and thank you, Canada for Letter Kenny!
@@THECRANKYONE For the dollar of Mercs I paid 27.26 so 2.76 per dime. And thank you, I don't think anyone can ever go wrong with Morgan dollars, or even peace dollars at that. Thank you for viewing, and staying tuned for more. 🤘
Good job! I just came across your channel, and what can go wrong when some like dogs? Don't answer that! I started out getting 1 or 2 varieties, but that got boring, and I started getting a selection, and I have not been disappointed! It all boils down to: if you can't please everyone, then at the very least, please yourself! If not, you're only kidding yourself and won't last long in the hobby and investment strategy!

Those who give grief over fractionals boggle my mind. Silver is silver is silver. Gold is gold is gold. Besides....when SHTF, those fractionals are going to be insanely useful. I'd rather not trade an ounce of silver or an ounce of gold for a cookie......
Hey hi no Debbie downer here, life is good investments are great, and I always share in these video comments is that any stacking is money well spent but it is actually money well saved. Have a very Happy Newyear 2025. Lance.

Harbor freight sells a great hard case for guns , you can stack your silver in, and they come in many different sizes.

Great score. I like that 24 trident and buffalo girl. Recently got those myself. Good work 👊🏿🥈
@@btaylor1924 the female buffalos are really beautiful in person. And the trident is a good one, I'm definitely happy with it myself. Thank you for tuning in, stay tuned for more content to come this week, and stay awesome! 🤘
Great rounds!
Constitutional is amazing fractional silver, and where I'm at, it's got basically zero premium, so it scratches both the fractional itch (for potential barter purposes if necessary), as well as the 'best ounce-per-dollar' itch. After all, a 90% quarter and dime is 1/4 ounce ASW. Two quarters (or a half) and two dimes is 1/2 ounce, and so on. I've looked at the fractional bullion when it's at the LCS, but I couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger on it. I do have some of the 1oz+ fractionals (the 1.5oz polar bears), but I think I got two at a time to make 3oz as well. Glad you like it, and that egyptian one is sweet.
I need to look back into the Constitutional; it was something I wanted when I started, but premiums were ridiculous. Thank you!
Nice 👍🪙💰
Beautiful! SD does a really nice job.

@michaelangelobergeron5980 not sure yet honestly. But when we cross that bridge I'll definitely be sharing it with TH-cam. I do like the way the gold eagles look though.
your stack doesnt make me uncomfortable i have 400 ounces and 1250 dollar face of 90 percent that doesnt include my sterling or foreign stuff im doing pretty good
@@charlesadkins7067 sound like a veteran stacker, can't wait till I got that much silver but in time for sure. Thank you for tuning in, stay awesome! 🤘
I've got several coin shops near me, but I've found that their prices are much higher than I can get on ebay buying from reputable sellers like Apmex, Liberty and others. I also buy from private sellers with a long history of 100% positive feedback. Because I pay with Paypal, I'm protected, but so far I haven't had any issues. Just today I bought a roll of (50) pre-1965 dimes. I feel pretty good about paying $119.31 for the roll. The _'U.S. Silver Coin Melt Value Calculator site'_ showed the melt price at $106.63. So I paid $12.68 over 'melt value', which isn't bad considering shipping and ebay fees. I haven't checked, but I doubt I could find a roll of 90% silver 'Rosie' dimes for that price at a coin shop.
@@DuckGuy-1957 that's a sweet deal you got on the dimes. The lcs I go to most of the time usually has something new each time I go which I like. There's one case that kind of stays the same I guess nobody wants to buy that stuff lol. But definitely has a lot to offer in terms of variety. I'm also not mad that the half dollars I got in this video were $20 each. They're very nice coins, unlike the more circulated ones I previously got. So I think it was fair pricing imo. My guess is that the coin shops around you are probably competing with one another and that's what drives the prices but I could definitely be wrong lol. Anyways thanks for tuning in, stay stacking, and stay awesome! 🤘
Don’t be so apologetic. You do your content and let people watch if they want. The trolls will attack when you put yourself out there. With that said, I don’t see that the “f” word is necessary. JMO
Sometimes you need to use it just to see if anyone is listening or sleeping! And for that matter, who ordained what are cuss words anyway, like did they have a round table discussion about it one day, way back when back in the day?
Keep going, whatever type makes you feel good. Love them all.

Take the 5 ounce bar out and enjoy it. Youll get more eventually that you can leave in the packaging. I have some silver in my stack desiginated for handling. Most of the rest stays protected in some way either in capsules or tubes or coin flips. Nothing like feeling the weight of a heavy bar in your bare hands .
@@rabidghost9649 I definitely did take it out 😂. Looks much better, and feels much better bare without the packaging. And I'm the same way, I have silver I designate for the daily pocket silver pieces, and if it comes in a capsule I take it out once to get a good look, but ultimately leave them in the capsules afterwards. I also like to use the flips too.
The St. George slays the dragon coin is my favorite.
@@mrblue1933 It's certainly a cool piece. Dragons are just cool in general in my opinion lol.
APMEX takes their sweet time to ship your purchase. You could write a novel from the time that you order from them and when your purchase arrives! You can even forget that you ordered anything from them. So, highlight all emails from them, and put in your calendar the anticipated arrival date of your purchase. To be fair, I think they have as good if not better prices than some other bullion dealers..
Not a piece there I wouldn't love to have. Stack what you like and enjoy, it really helps keep interest in the "hobby" and adding more ounces is the key goal! I love the Scottdale Mint rounds, such high quality!
@@brianhums5056 agreed, and I'm becoming a big fan of the Scottsdale Mint. The finish on all the pieces I got from them so far is neat.
That british coin with the dragon looks similar to a British gold sovereign coin.
Who cares what other people think. Get what you want. I like to look at it all. A few years down the road, it wont matter what you bought, just that you bought it. Thanks for sharing.
