SLEEPER OPTIPLEX 3050
A little project that I made which took longer than I expected.
Things that I added to the build:
1. 1st Player 650W SFX PSU

- i7 7700

- WD SN520 128 GB NVME SSD
- TOSHIBA 1 TB HDD 7200RPM
- Kingston Hyper X Fury DDR4 8GB 3200MHz
- Samsung DDR4 8GB 2400Mhz
I do not recommend this build due to restricted airflow but it is interesting to see it as a sleeper without any case mod needed. The things I used could be better (matching RAM / better gpu / better cpu cooler if there are any) but this is all I had in stock.

Pickup up an old Optiplex 960 and trying to upgrade into a gaming PC. This is to show that if you happen to have the same model, this is what you might be able to make out of it. This pc uses DDR2 Ram stick. Unfortunately I do not have 4gb ddr2 stick to try. But 1050ti low profile should work

@@marcont7690 I believe 800 MHz is the max. Older system is a bit picky about the suitable ram. Be sure to update the bios to the latest one.

I have the same pc, but i hear loud fan noise, both power supply fan and cpu fan, can cleaning the fans fix the problem??
Try clean everything. Might be overheating due to the dust build up
