I got the meteor shower on night 1 . I remember it was the very beginning because I didn’t want to sleep through the event and go outside so I was panicking to find the ‘wake up’ button, lmao. I thought it was scripted to ease you into the nightly atmosphere and also the fact that the sky is alive amd eventful.

Meteor event happens literally the 1st night after arriving at the base, it's a story mode event. Problem is you likely sleep through it or it rains that night, since you are most likely trying to get signals with the initial, subpar equipment.

You can tow off their ships with the atv and hooks Also you can take the lantern by holding it and pressing . On your numpad keys Doing so will teleport you back to the base where you can stash it in the basement or something while they get their slap on you in and leave

iirc the black hole noise around 9:00 is literally just the last few minutes of “place in the world fades away” by the caretaker

Iirc, the signals that are already lucid when they're at level 0 lose anything special when you try to upgrade them At least, that's what I remember about the song from earth

The shadowy event at the 14 minute mark isn't just clouding your vision. There's also shadowy creatures with white glowing eyes that lurk at the edge of your vision (assuming you remain on the ground) that stalk you. I have no idea if they can harm you though, but they do aggressively follow.

The wendigo nightmare is random, unrelated to the event. I got it in my playthrough around day 10 without having ever interacted with either of the skulls

This update was really cool and added a ton of cool stuff, at this point I love that the ariaials are just pranksters who mess with you every once and a while that’s the vibe I get from them, the orbs and the pyramid though are so intriguing like what exatly happened
