So black wire is connected to DI0, brown wire is connected to M and where do I connect the blue wire then?
Hi, It really depends on your sensor. It is better to refer to the sensor manuals as even the colour codings may differ. For this example, brown is the positive pole, blue is the negative pole, and black is the output terminal.
The Blue wire is (0Vdc) so it is connected to "1M", and Brown wire is connected to (+24Vdc) , where Black wire is an output and decided by the type of sensor either NPN or PNP type. For example, Realy has A1(Positive side) and A2(Negative side). if you want to provide positive voltage, try to connect Black wire to A2 in order the current flows from negative (A2) side to positive (A1) side saying that +24Vdc is ready to be used to your applications externally. @iconsmat is this what you want to say.
