With the support of a distinguished group of professionals and industry leaders, the HKUST School of Engineering has formed the Industry Engagement Committee (IEC) to foster collaboration between industry, faculty, and students. The Inaugural Ceremony took place at the newly refurbished Engineering Commons on June 7, 2024, marking a momentous milestone in the School's history.
To provide IEC members with a better understanding of the research capabilities of the School, Prof. Guanghao CHEN guided the members through the Chinese National Engineering Research Center for Control and Treatment of Heavy Metal Pollution (Hong Kong Branch), which was followed by demonstrations from Prof. Fumin ZHANG’s team at the Cheng Kar-Shun Robotics Institute, and concluded with a presentation on Multilevel Antimicrobial Polymer (MAP-1) by Prof. King Lun YEUNG.
