I watched 30 episodes of this anime and I can say that yes maybe people are correct it doesn't have the same 90's feel, but maybe it needed to be different, because it is a different timeline now, and yes pacing maybe a little too fast, but at least for me it was ok. Now about Koushiro and Sora being ruined, maybe they were ruined I"am not so sure about that, because as much as I remember 1999 Koushiro was more on supportive side hacking, looking for info and figuring out about digital world. Also what people said human partners rarely interact with their digimon partners I wacthed only hallfway, but I guess I can agree that human partners interacting with their digimon lesser, in 2020 version. Actually I like this version for one thing that it is set in modern day and it shows how humans are weak and pathetic relying on technology and if one mistake or bug comes everything will be ruined missiles launched by mistake and other evil things, pretty much the same thing happened in Digimon Universe appli monsters with AI techonology, technology is good, but it needs to maintained and looked after, or else simple virus or bug will destroy modern life.

The original's better, and I'm not wearing rose tinted glasses. You just can't beat that sax that they removed for some reason. Also did they just use Paildramon to fly up to a tower? Angemon can do that. Heck XVmon and Stingmon on their own can do that.
