Dam manny , rest in peace bro !! you'll be missed .. may ALLAH HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL !! ❤❤
RIP Manny.
But..... the direction, strength, guidance etc has to come from a higher power. A sponsor is fair enough until the sponsee has a higher power, then the sponsor is a person to talk to and bounce ideas off, not a source of direction or else the sponsee is not following the 12 step program
Very apt for me. Thanks for the interesting interview.
This is one of the most amazing things I've seen on Facebook. Wow.
I wonder if the souls of dead addicts spend time in hell as payback for the hell they put their families through. Addicts are terribly selfish creatures that don't care at all about anybody else.
Don't talk about how selfish you think addicts are....ass
Actually, that child is me, I'm almost 15 now and most of that video is lies, you shouldn't look to her for inspiration
why were they all smushed next to each other on that lil couch? (PS you should let Phil play Charlie, hes a great actor)
i LOVE YOU LADIES
Thanks Liz, it takes alot of courage to open up like this. i was wrapped up in the stuff 6 years ago. Its a powerful addiction.
I'll never forget Courtney, she was an amazing friend. I can't stop crying while watching this, I miss you girl
I started a show about three months ago. Time to Heal Recovery Talk TV Show. I am a volunteer trying to give a message of hope to addicts and alcoholics. You can watch my shows on Ytube: Time to Heal With Pam I am sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing these videos, they are needed.
Great Video. I actually run a recovery group at a Mental Health PROS Outpatient and showed part of this video. The clients response was great! Started a great discussion. Please keep the videos coming!
faillire faillire faillure give yourself a break!
"Relapse" is just an excuse for failing. I was addicted to many things but.. Once I made the personal commitment to quit and to stay off, I did it. "Relapse" is bullshit, it's failure. Make your mind up, and do it! And do anything you have to do to stay off, that's it, move on. Stop "excepting" " relapse" (failure) as part of your recovery, it's not!
addicted to what? BTW...I think you meant "ACCEPTING" :-)
I battled many addictions, with various drugs. Started with 15 year cocaine addiction, Moved into smoking opium, then pain pills, then heroin that lasted about 8 years. Went and signed into a methadone clinic ended being a 12 year patient there. It took a couple years and I weaned off that (that was HELL) Quit smoking cigarettes after 25 years. I've been free from all drugs for about 10years now. No matter how hard it is at the time it gets better and easier.
+Nazi Wow, how old are you?
i love my Lizzabi!! xoxo
I could have written this show. Thank you Phil for putting this together and showing how crazy good families get.
Recognizing and accepting addiction is a disease is a big step in fighting this epidemic. Getting the word out is so important.
I will be sharing this with our members on The Addict's Mom sites--thank you Phil for the work you are doing
Great show!!!! Good for you Kat!!!
this is a powerful video, sad and so truthful. My son is a recovering addict and listening to Davids story was heartwrenching and yet hopeful...
I was a camera man in this episode. I do the close up shots of David. David also happens to be a freshman teacher at my high school
Thank you, again, for bringing a vital message to families who face addiction in a loved one. You always make things so real, and understandable. I appreciate your show so much.
great show!!!
