You are not Venat. She was the previous Azem. The Ancient from which you are a shard of was the current Azem when you were in Elpis. Azem is just a seat in the Convocation. So you are 9/14s (because of Ardbert rejoining with you) of the current Azem, Venat/Hydaelyn was the previous Azem.

I had built up a tolerance to that scene due to seeing so many streamers play it. Hadn't seen it again in a while though. It's nice to know that the tolerance definitely lowers again...

Interestingly depending on what raids you have finished many of the NPCs will change for that scene with the Dalamud relics. I actually had some additional references then the ones in the scene.

oh right, this was your first Rising event XD Aye lass, he does this every year. I remember the first one he did, he introduces himself as that world's "author" of sorts, as himself lol XD It was jarring for me when he literally reveals who he really is, and i made sure to do every Rising event after that to make sure i get ot see him each time lol

Regarding the Rising, it blows me away that Yoshida insists on writing his own lines every year, but then again, it's his opportunity to address every single player in a slightly more personal manner, and it's greatly appreciated.
