This was one of my favourite scenes in the whole movie. Gar was that father figure you could go to talk to and most always get an answer. In this instance he was right on.
This one moment revealed so much about Dozer. He didn’t like to talk because he had a speech impediment. He probably learned to be tough from fending off people mocking him. And Rocky is so kind and loyal to him, that he’s willing to say the words just for him. It’s a beautiful scene, and the actor brought a lot of heart to the role.
I will forever bawl like a baby at this scene! Dozer reminds me so much of my Daddy with his physical stature. Looks mean as hell, but is really a teddy bear. Daddy was the exact same way. We wore this movie out to the point we could both quote the entire thing. I put this movie on when I’m missing him. Kinda feels like I can hear him say he’s proud of me. Rip Daddy and Dozer! 💕
Man, such a fantastic movie. This movie will make you laugh, give you chills and make you cry. Every single person was spot on. This movie really paid homage to incredible people, Rusty and Rocky and showed the love a mother had for her son!
Every womans heart beat double time when he drives up like that. Gar's a very caring man when it comes to Rocky.
