@@ClaraFrancken I had to put my feet down to stop because the brakes didn't work at all. It was kinda scary! I'd done a lot of kilometres on it though, so maybe they just wore out.

​@@FlyingBeardMan omg that's a nightmare, def if it's in full speed mode.. I guess maybe the brakes were worn off? I check my brakes and tires quite often because of traveling by bicycle, maybe that helps to have a general check-up once in a while, because these things could happen on any bicycle I guess.. In worst case, jump of your bicycle and lift the back of it, because that's the part that's being pushed electrically. Hope you didn't experience that again after one time! :)

Hi, I totally get your question, but it's a program designed for people who spend a lot of money on German tickets. Basically if you buy lots of tickets/spend a lot of money on it, you'll get to that level. I have never heard of buying the silver status.. But maybe 1st class also has advantages in having a priority status, you could write the railway to ask them? Also, with a 1st class ticket, you'll have access to the lounge which I find incredibly helpful! Have a wonderful day!! Where in Germany will you be traveling?

Yes i'd loved to, but the conductor told us we couldn't and I didn't find the trick to go and do it myself 😢 I did eventually use all the pillows though 😂❤

Oh and no I bought the ticket via the ÖBB website 2 months before departure. I do have a Bahncard 25, but it only works for DB trains. A seat in the sleeping cabin would have been way more expensive though.. 😅❤

Dankuwel voor de lieve woorden!! 3n ja regen hoort er zeker bij, maar mijn cameras etc mogen niet nat worden + ik wou graag mensen aanspreken op straat en niemand staat te wachten op een gesprek onder de regen, dus was het effe tricky :) dag 3 komt volgende week online, een van mijn lievelingsdagen tot nu toe 😍

Hi, thank you, that's a great question. I have a koga trekking bike. I can check the exact name of it next week. The wheels are Schwalbe Marathon and I'm really happy that I didn't have any problems and had to change them 🫶 I do think that my problem getting through the sand was mostly because I have heavy bags and I'm not so trained or used to these roads since it's my first bigger trip traveling alone 😍

Flixbus idk, but yes many german trains get delayed so you better be ready for that and plan enough time to catch your connection 🫶
