    I love when Mariah-Jane says “Transforming the Mind and Body. I didn’t have the guts to put spirit there yet” about the sticker on her car. It is those 3 together that are truly powerful but most leave one of them out. I totally get you were cautious back the, 😂 But so great to learn you already knew! Who knows how many of us walk around like this thinking we are the only one with strange insights that make sense on another level. ❤❤❤

      I appreciate you leaving a comment, but you are looking at the technique through the eyes of someone trained in a different form. There are specific reasons for how we do the program we do through Master Moy Lin Shin's work, and as a movement specialist, we understand the sinking and spiraling internal action when we do this activity.

      @michellegreenwell 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your comment. The speed of this is for demonstration purposes. We adjust the speed based on the intention of the set. To get out of your head, you can move faster and listen to the body movements. To explore the relationship of the muscle to tendon, there will be much slower movement. When learning the set it is important to move so that you are not thinking so much about all the details and loose your connection to the flow. I am not sure about your comment about the turns. Please share more.

      @@michellegreenwell My instructor, is a top ranked sinsi. Not sure this is how it's spelled. Her name is Rosalind McDermott. She says it takes 10,000x to Mastery. There are 24 steps. Some of them require repetition and turns. Rooster stands on right leg etc, and other require your feet to turn. All I know is it's going to take me 20,000x to Mastery bc between the feet & arm movements I am so confused. ☺️

    • @michellegreenwell
      @michellegreenwell 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@annettegerage4478 The feet are very important and step at a 45 degree most of the time, and 22.5 degrees some of the time, but the real turning comes from within as you develop a mastery of the outside of the body to the inside awareness. I prefer to think of it as evolving with Tai Chi rather than reaching an end point because our body will change each day based on our emotional and spiritual wellness. Our patience with ourselves is important so that we can be present with where we are and learn and grow from there. It is a very rewarding journey. The motto for Wine Country Tai Chi Society in West Kelowna, BC is "The Journey is the Reward." Enjoy your journey.

In the first 17 moves we have Commencement, Left Grasp Bird's Tale, Grasp Bird's Tale, Whip to one side, Step up to Raise Hands, White Stork Spreads wings, Strum the Pei Pa, Brush Knees and Appear to Close the entrance. These are English translations to Chinese phrases, and do have metaphorical meaning. I hope this helps.

    Hi. Your channel looks great. Could you explain what bio energética are? Is it related to tai chi or chi gong? Many thanks.

    • @michellegreenwell
      @michellegreenwell 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Thank you for that great question. Bioenergetic refers to activities that create energy for us to be well. That is actions which bring balance and flow. This can be choosing activities that promote deep breathing with expansion of the hips and chest to create Qi - if we are considering Tai Chi or Qi Gong. Water can be bioenergetic if we sip it to energize the system, if we drink too much water, it would be bioacidic as it would overstress the system and put us out of balance. Bioenergetic wellness is engaging in activities that maintain balance and flow. These tools can include awareness and biofeedback through sensing or muscle monitoring, tools that help to personalize what we do for ourselves that is supportive. Although walking 3 miles/km is energizing for one person, it may not be for someone else. By gaining information from the body about what supports it, we can create and store energy for use later. That is where Tai Chi comes in. When we do tai chi patterns or qi gong exercises, we are creating balance and flow through all the systems. This is a bioenergetic activity that will support wellbeing. The BioEnergetic Wellness Dance Warmup is designed to create balance and flow through the systems as well as engage reflexes and whole body movement so the body is fully engaged to participate in an activity or to function in harmony. I hope this helps to answer your great question!
