You should definitely do it! I never finished either campaign in my youth, so I found it very therapeutic to finally finish the Human campaign. I may go back and do the Orcs later. It was almost like walking into a portal back to my 16 year old self.

I'm sure that was annoying, lol. I received another comment yesterday asking why I spelled her name "Sylvanus" all over the video. Only then did I finally realize it's "Sylvanas" ... I don't remember having problems like this when I was younger. Either way, I've been corrected ... don't ever listen to a video where I say "Thaurissan", I have a feeling I have got that one wrong too.

However, it certainly looks like Baron is doable if you have really great mechanics and timing. Our guild leader, Mango Zero, regularly beats Geddon 3 times each Raid, and his levels are close to 24-25. It's 100% doable, but not easy! Mostly in this video I am making fun of myself (and Genzic, who is a great sport), while also offering a few observations on how we do it.

@@bluemaxg oh cool, i always try to get ragnaros, but i can´t pass geddon, is cool have a good challenge and make things interesting, but sometimes is frustraiting xD, especially when you only want ragnaros to play with it. Is more fun when you get ragnaros and then, just for fun you want to kill geddon for a challenge content.

Run quests and use valor to increase slots for your team and you’ll get it! Also, if possible, join a guild with discord and coordinate via voice.

Thanks for viewing and commenting! I certainly view any multiplayer competitive aspect of a mobile game to be more suceptible to P2W schemes. Like I have said recently, my views on P2W are beginning to evolve, and I am becoming less and less of an apologist for the model. That being said, I think that Blizzard has introduced several systems into the game that help low spenders and F2P players bridge some of the power gap, and I think those efforts are better for the long-term health of the game, even if they may mean less money in the short-term.

No I agree (regardless of what I said, I don’t entirely remember, lol). Most op PvP minis are 2-4 gold. So that is a saving Grace, but I still think this causes some fomo.

I played Hero of Aerhric for a little while. It’s almost entirely F2P, and it has 8-bit graphics. It’s just a relatively small player base and non-competitive mmo, at least from what I could see. It’s one of the reasons I decided to pick up Guild Wars 2 a few weeks back.

I do/did have a P2W account, especially when I recorded this guide. However, I deliberately lowered my overall army average by not utilizing valor slots. I believe my army was one level below the recommended level 24 for this map. I hope you were able to gleam some tactics from this guide!

That certainly could happen ... my thoughts were impromptu and half-baked at best. I forsee situations where you juuuust about finish off an opponent, and now they are coming for you with an expanded income. Either you are going to barely survive the onslaught due to your gradually increased income, or you may transition to turtle + spell chip. This is the fun of speculating on new encants and mods ... we won't know for sure until it gets here! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

I think the shield talent is the favored one in PVP at Diablo Gaming.

Faerie will need 2 shots, and Pyro will need 3. But Pryo has +3 range on Faerie. I don't know how quickly units at normal speed cover "range tiles", but it's I'm guessing Pyro will baiscally get a free shot. Also, if Pyro is using the Pyroblast talent (deal triple damage on the first attack) then it's GG. Very good point on WD, I had forgotten he's elemental. I know know Faerie can 1-shot Gryphon and Darkspear using Stealth, but then you lose the benefit of the talent that grants Resist to one allied unit. Since Faerie Dragon is more of a support unit, I think this is going to be far and wide the most used talent. Faerie is just too squishy to stay in the fight for too long. At any rate, those are my thoughts on the matter; we'll know more for sure once players start getting Faerie Dragon leveled up enough to play in PVP.

Lol - I need to look at my spreadsheet more, and maybe even build out some formulas. At level 1, Gryphon has 170 Health, and level 1 Faerie Dragon does 170 damage. If Gryphon is using +3 range talent, then I bet Grphon will still kill Faerie Dragon without taking a hit. However, Faeire will one-shot Grypon if it gets a shot off. I think the interactiosn are going to be interesting to be sure.

You're quite welcome! If I could re-record the video, I would have factored in how Faerie Dragon will handle these 1v1 scenarios when using the Stealth talent. I didn't initially because I think Faerie Dragon's main "raison 'etre" is to be a support unit, and granting permanent resist to a single unit could be very, very useful. Imagine using FD to give perma resist to Gargoyle once we switch to Rocket Towers!

Diablo Gaming has gobbled up a large portion of the heavily involved and active players. If and when the game gets more features, I think it's safe to say that other groups will rise up and give us a run for the money. I'm counting on it! It sounds like you and I are on the same page. Genzic, myself, and the rest of the DFH veterans don't want a repeat of what our lives were like when we had 6 events each weekend. It really messed up a lot of our personal lives. However, the rest of the ideas sound really good.

At this stage this is speculation. It certainly was the image of the Darkmoon Faire in the teaser video, and it was linked to time-sensitive events. However, that's all we are going on at this time.

Speaking for myself, I would have quit DFH long before they shut down the game if it were not for the bi-weekly events. If Darkmoon Faire turned out to be simiular to bi-weekly events in DFH (albeit without taking up your WHOLE weekend) I think you could see a huge amount of interest in the game. PvP is not for everyone, but most everyone enjoyed the extra PVE content, the rewards, and of course the individual and guild leaderboards.

You forgot to mention PvP replays too!

@@vladn4321 I just got into the office and I've trimmed out the first seconds of the video, but unsure how long that will take to come into effect. In YT Stuido, this video status still shows it's converting to SD, but no time frame is available. Typically this happens overnight before I publish, so unsure there. Also, very happy to hear the audio is better.

I don't think we have an actual timeframe in events coming out, but I certainly HOPE it's in the next 2-4 weeks! This has been a good update to the game, but we need more content. And yes, totally agree with you that guilds are not great at this time. There's so much potential!

If your grid is getting clogged with talents, then you may need to buy some just to free up the grid. Remember that you add a level to a mini whenever you buy a talent, so it’s not a complete waste of gold, just a partial one. 😃
