Suture Pad Comparison Video
มุมมอง 4.8K9 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a 1 minute comparison video of a cheap knockoff product against my favorite type of suture pad: Extra Large Suture Pad By Your Design Medical. www.yourdesignmedical.com or amazon.com This cheap product is 4" wide by 6.5" long by 0.25" thick; with 3 layers of the same soft rubber. Very difficult to pass any suture larger than 6-0 into without scratching your table. Case is very cheap and...
How did you get blood into the trainer?
Thank you!
from where can i buy such a surgical set for study purposes
Kamasutra pad
Why are you sawing back and forth!? Why is your blade so dull? Let's not forget that your patient is wide awake during this and the 'best" you can do to alleviate the pain is inject a bit of lydocane into the surrounding area. Jesus Christ, you might want to practice a bit more before you traumatize someone.
Can we practice vertical n horizontal suture on them
That’s not how Dr. Pimple Popper does it. She gives some lidocaine first. 😅😉
oh heck no
So cringe how he grabbed the very tip of the needle with the driver.
Yummy
I was going to write something like that 😂
How I can get this kit
I just cut my buddies arm whos shoots up boi. We drained 14oz pus out of his big old swollen track mark arm
Can I do this at home?
no you might infect yourself
Okay it's 3 am and my dad got rid of my boil that was right above my knee for me. Almost an hour of excruciating pain It was a big ass boil with so much pus I don't wanna go through anything like it in life again Had a big ass boil under my right armpit as well recently but that didn't hurt as much as the one above my knee did!
I have a boil and was thinking about go to the hospital but was told to treat at home first. Someone told me that the doctors do the same thing you do at home. Yeah no bc I could not sit there and do this to myself and not pass out or hurt myself😂 I love that we have such a good medical system these days where i don't feel judged when I go in they take care of you and give you instructions for after care. Watching this really made me realize how even some of the simpler things or medical professionals do are still hard work and alot of us wouldn't be able to handle
I'm a doctor. We put lidocaine (numbing medicine) into the abscess before lancing it. Sure, you can do it yourself, but I think even Rambo would cry like a baby if he did. And it is often painful even WITH lidocaine!
When I let go of both ends of the surgical knot, it always loosens the knot before I can secure it with another throw. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I'm trying so many different things to keep my skin edges together but they always separate. Please help!
23k views but no one likes the video....why
Lol right
Can you remove the stitches after? To reuse it? Or no?
Fuck my life it is on my neck and my doctor dad cut that shit open with no anemotherfuckingstesia and the pain was unbearable I almost cried it ain’t even drained fully I am sitting here in pain with a still small bump on my damn neck of the remains
I feel you bruh
Sorry my manz
Are you ok now
How to differentiate between cyst and abcess ?
Idk sorry
Dr. correct me if I’m incorrect, but so is the packing strip just a thin piece of gauze? My second question was once you insert the packing strip and clean the area the packing strip is then removed correct?? Followed by stitches??
No. The packing strip is usually left in for a day or so (can have fresh ones inserted, even)
We are manufacturing company of all kinds of Suturing pads and Instruments.
Ouch
Having a nurse as my neighbor is teaching me how to suture and put ivs in so I can be ready for anything. Especially my 95 year old grandfather who despises hospitals and will fight u on that.
That's great. I would also advise learning how to apply a tourniquet correctly. Most improv tourniquets, such as belts or cloth material, will cause more bleeding to occur.
Thank you I finally did it correctly
amizing
So lovely boss 💪😍❤️💙

I'd laugh if I wasn't learning this for similar reasons...

It costs $135.00.
What does?
@@stripedrajang3571 I think he's talking about the kit.
Anylink for order ??
Those aren’t forceps those are tweezers.
Forceps are bigger than tweezers. Those are forceps. Ya dumb
Exactly
can any type of suture thread be used with this? what is the recomended needle size?
It depends on the area of the body. a.k.a the skin thickness. If you're doing this on an arm, I recommend a size 4. But say on foot, where the skin is thicker, use a bigger thicker needle. Like a 1 or a 0.
What's the y shaped and v shaped wound
probably for autopsy
Some incision designs are "H" shaped or "Y" shaped also.
they failed to say this is extremely painful. the amount of pain is unbearable............
Angel Stephens That’s why we give multiple injections of lidocaine/epinephrine around it prior to draining.
It's not that bad
Even with the injections... Its horribly painful! It felt like someone had a torch lit inside my arm and wouldn't stop
The worst part for me was the packing. I didn’t feel much of anything else that was done
@@whitneylozano16 SAME. I was like "Bro what are you doing in there" not that painful I was just confused asf
WOW, can hardly see anything....................
