I can’t stress how much I love how he plays so quietly in some sections. So many pianists hammer the whole thing out, but he just has this holistic sense of the piece and knows how to pace himself. Sublime!

정말 역사적인 1악장 오씨아 입니다.
갓 20세에 이렇듯 직관적이고 힘이 있으면서 섬세하고 아름다우며 깊이 있게 연주하다니… 역사상 이런 피아니스트 없었을 것같다. 호르비츠의 완벽한 업그레이드 버전이다.

Yunchan is wonderful but the orchestra is not at same level...
The second movement is too slow and has no flow....the orchestra stops allways and is no andantino.....

Yunchan has what is called an "old soul." He is clearly a deeply spiritual person, capable of plumbing the depths of these brilliant pieces of music. This is not surface flash, but heart breaking evocation of eternity. Every piece he plays is deeply moving. I am in awe of his talent.

특유의 타건, 음색, 다이나믹이 슈피협이랑 찰떡같이 잘어울림 쇼피협2도 그렇고 임은 애절하면서도 격정적인 사랑을 참 맛있게 표현하는듯
I first listened to Yunchan's Rach 3 (and his other performances) during the Cliburn competition. After watching his several rounds, somehow I gradually began to "feel" that the overall pianistic skills of this "good-looking young man" were so outstanding that he would get the medal. Not surprisingly the applause after he had just finished Rach 3 was so deafeningly thunderous that I had goose bumps and that I thought that he would get the medal. Of course he got it, deservingly. I now listen to another performance of his Rach 3 - I just cannot believe that it comes from someone who is in his early twenties but his rendition is that of a mature middle-aged man, having gone through so much in life that he tells you the ups and downs by moving his fingers. My dear Yunchan, I want you in Hong Kong!
개인적으로 임윤찬 연주들중에서도 제일 별로.. 슈만을 너무 리스트스럽게 레가토스럽게 침. 너무 딱딱하고 부드럽지 못하고 그냥 치기어린 fff 초절기교같음.. 템포도 슈만스럽지 않게 느려졌다 빨라졌다 이상한데서 소리 작아지고 커지고 정신 없음.. 하지만 기교라고하기엔 틀려서는 안될 중요한부분에 자꾸 미스터치.. (23:19 30:57 등등) 그리고 오케스트라 안듣고 치는것같음 자주 어긋남. (25:31) 조성진이나 아르헤리치가 슈만콘체르토는 훨 잘침
저는 음악적 기교나 해석없이 순수한맘으로 듣는입장에서 다른연주자들과 비교했을때 이분해석이 제일 맘에 와닿는것 같아요. 격정적으로 들리고 빨려들어가는 느낌..어느순간은 몽환적인 느낌이 들다 정점에 치닫는 다랄까요ㅎㅎ전 자극적인 매운맛을 좋아하나봅니다^^;;;;슈만스럽다 리스트스럽다 가 아닌 그 연주들 자체가 너무 매력있어요ㅎㅎ

@@mk_kim1217 조성진 찬양한 것도 아니고 해석이 별로라는건데 그저~ 편가르는데에만 혈안이 된 윤찬 줌마할미팬 역시 질떨어지는 수준에 혀를 내두르고 갑니다^^ 아무런 음악적 지식 없이 클래식을 감히 청취하려고 들다니 우매한 대중! 역시 임윤찬 팬은 다 그렇구나!
이러는 게 과연 조성진한테 과연 득이 될까요...? 임 조 둘다 즐겨듣는데 이런 글은 눈쌀이 찌푸려집니다. 임윤찬 그라모폰 2관왕 수상 후 더 이런 글이 많아진듯..

Sounds fantastic, in such a big hall ,orchestra seems a little behind,maybe not.l was fortune to see him playing this this very concerto in Korea, it was out of this world. Very relaxed, no tie or bow tie ,pretty informal 🎉🎉🎉

30:05 이 부분 아무리 들어도 질리지가 않아요. 너무 아름다움... 13:19 새롭게 꽂힌 부분. 피아노 하나만으로 이런 느낌을 낼 수 있다니...
제일 좋아하는 2악장 소리 하나하나 살아있는 프레이즈, 임윤찬만의 해석이 돋보입니다 다만 BBC가 받쳐주지 못 하는 것이 아쉽네요
