I hung out with Pantera a number of times, and Rex Bass does not sound like that.... At all. Good job playing it though. Rex is a really nice guy btw. We dug a round snow cone truck out of the weeds one night and Rex was laughing hysterically at dime because he wanted to buy it and paint Pantera on the side and drive it around like a golf cart. Might be a few seconds of footage of that in the vulgar video. Good times.

I use vst, but if you play through a bass stack, you definitely need a distortion pedal, or better still a processor
