The cardiac stomach isn’t that big, do you know what you’re doing?
The youngest???? T Aren’t they sensory podia?
So beautiful ❤
I would absolutely love to see more of these videos pop up someday
COME AROUND EAT SPONGEBOB'S HOUSE
Poor snail. They may be simple animals, but they’re still capable of suffering, though different from our own experience of pain.
I absolutely love these videos!
It's crazy that in so many ways they resemble coral, but they're more closely related to molluscs than coral.
"House-Wrecker"!🐚🐌❤🩹🤕
Ein wunderbares Video, nicht nur für Anfänger der Mikroskopie!
I struggle a bit to understand how the rotifer's corona move in 3 Dimensions. Do you have any ressources on that? Like an animated 3D model or something would be great. It really looks like a sort of "wheel" motion as their name suggest but I assume that is not really it.
I've always wondered the same thing! It just doesn't make sense and has to be an optical illusion.
I had some Antarctic algae in the freezer for 24 years. Recently I wetted a small piece of it. In 30 min I saw several bdelloid rotifers wiggling around.
That is amazing!
Outstanding photography. Do I see a circular motor at 15:03?
If I'm seeing the same thing it's metachronal waves of ciliary beating in the corona!
Which microscopy is the best to check the bryzoan branches..can we use the fluorescence microscopy
You have a new friend for life.
The wavy turben snail in visaya is called supsuppon in bilibol
"Sea Monkeys", as a kid growing up in the 60's, every comic book had on it's last pages adverts for Sea Monkeys, next to the Ad for a live baby Alligator mailed anywhere in the lower 48, I later discovered my childhood Toys that seemed to only live a few weeks no matter what I did, was supposed to do that and they also made Excellent live food for many of my fish.
I've been looking for something to take up my love for the natural world that's an easier hobby with equipment, money and not taking up All my time (once had 20 large aquariums, fresh & salt, love the water but too much for a minded perfectionist that's naturally not, now it really is too much), I've discovered these primitive types of desert arthropods, often called Shrimps, they're not but are interesting, there's apparently several species that usually last only a month or two till desiccation is needed for egg maturation. Sounds like fun that controllable.
I feel so incredibly lucky to find this channel. looking at these live specimen are really helpful in remembering their features and functions. thank you so much!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Great video!!
Wonderful video, what do you think about the debate that bivalves do not feel pain?
THANK YOU!!! Saving me from failing my Biology exam. Very detailed and informative
Using these for studying insteadvreading from the book for my university class. Too bad there are some fetails missing but still amazing!
where is t snail
Big up Sir your so accurate 🤩🤩🤩
Do you know how to get rid of them from a garden
One of the coolest videos I’ve seen recently and there are only 5 comments. dang
Thank you very much for sharing this video with us.
this is SO fascinating and informative!!! thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with us
I just found this channel studying for a zoology test, this channel is CRIMINALLY underrated. Excellent work, keep it up!
Tem como traduzir?
Taste like chicken and are great if you wanna loose weigh as well! Thumbs up for me!
This is an AWESOME video. Usually when I watch videos of the actual animals, it's a bit different from the books, but I could understand exactly everything I read in my books and it was totally great for my knowledge!!!
heterobranchia where :(
I love this. Thank you for this video on invertebrate marine larvae.
7:14 _gasp_ It's farting out the gas.
amazing video and footage, thanks!
Very interesting
Great!!👏
Your videos are awesome! thanks for posting them ❤
Fantastic video!
Thank you for making this fantastic video about such an underappreciated species ❤
Anesthetized or not that's gotta hurt...do you ever feel like Dr. Mengele?
wow so bivalves have a labia just like a certain mammalian organ
The word ‘labia’ just means ‘lips’ in Latin. It’s non-specific in that animals can have genital labia, and labia around the mouth.
A little more commentary would make the video more informative.
So why they are so hungry
That one rotifer needs more fiber or some laxitives.......it's just straining under the pressure......if it could it would be hanging on to a towel rack and the side of the tub letting out tiny grunts and swear-words while threatening the algae with eviction if it doesn't start cooking better food
I found some in the bottom of my water filter which is 5 microns, they are about 10 cm, I use UV lamp to kill bacteria, are they dangerous to humans ? Which microscope, not to expensive should I buy for observing them ?
Good video, I prefer no music and enjoyed grown up audio for a change!
