This is all great and stuff, but in today’s time, it should communicate over Thread not BLE. Because BLE basically ties you to get a hub if you want access to it just a few meters off. And it can’t easily be shared or integrated into an existing system (Home Assistant).

I have 83” Sony Oled and use 3 light bars on back of tv. Looks great. Not sure worth the cost, but sync box makes lighting look more integrated, blending with on-screen content. Sports look lifeless without the lights.

Did u ever review the blinds, or did u just look at yourself through the camera and yap the whole time? What a horrible review style.

theses thermometer hygrometers don't respond correctly fast enough to temperature change. Because it's where they put the Swiss sensor. The manufacturer needs to put the temp humidity sensor somewhere outside the unit separate from the main circuit board on it own little probe so the response time would work better. i have three similar types of thermometers like the H5075 from govee and they have the same problem of not responding fast enough for example when heat or air conditioning goes through its cycles these thermometers show no change in temperature. When i check with an instant read meat thermometer my room temperature would start at 80° and then cool to 78° but the govee would show no change in temperature and it would still show 80° when the meat thermometer would show that the room had cooled to 78°.

These Onvis light strips have turned out to be the least reliable light strips I've had. I have four sets of these in two separate homes. All four of these have disconnected from wifi multiple times in the last year or so. Whenever this happens it requires removal from the Onvis App, factory defaulting, adding back into the Onvis app and then Apple Home. Then I have to set up the lights all over again. I'm done with these. All four have disconnected for the last time. It took a couple of weeks but the last two disconnected at the same time the other night making all four sets inoperative. I won't be adding them back in.

Actually you don't need the remote: You can use your iPhone as a remote too, just make sure they are on the same Wi-Fi Network.

Hi, this is very useful. I did add most of my switchbot devices into the homekit through homebrgide. However, I am facing a problem that I did successfully add my IR TV device into HK the first time through the "Add Accessory --> More Option", but something goes wrong a few days later so I decide to remove the HB plugin and reinstall it again. This time, I could not find my IR TV device in the more option. I believe this is because I have added it into HK before and I would need to "reset" my device in order to add into HK again. Here is the problem that I don't know if there is a way to reset the IR TV device since it is coming from HB and I have reinstalled my HB plugin but not work. Hope you have a solution, thanks bro!
