Love your work Jics. Can I ask, have you ever used any of the dirt/mud AK products for the wheels instead of dust? Or as well as dust?
Thanks a lot!!😃 Yes, I have used them, but on 28mm vehicles. For 15mm I prefer to use dust or pigments.
Thank you !!!! I was looking for a how to guide on this! Can’t wait to get my marines on the table. Thank you sir
@@winterassault44 thanks for watching, enjoy the marines!!😃😃
Good video. I just wish that more Mini painters would take into account those of us who do not have an airbrush, and would show more painting with brushes instead of the super reliance on the airbrush.
Thank you!! For the base color and highlights you can use this set from AK👉 ak-interactive.com/product/idf-afv-colors/ . The varnish can be applied with a brush or spray. Everything else is applied with a brush. Hope I was helpful😉😃
very nice
Thank you!!🤗🙌🙌
I love how it looks, but I play with people who are fairly strict on 'historical' vehicles and camo
Team Yankee was born as a WWIII "what if", a war that never happened, where you can pit Americans against Norwegians. The game is closer to WH40K than FoW. 😄
Amazing as always.
Thank you!!😃🙌
Number one🎉
Thanks a lot!!!🙌🙌😃
Another great tutorial! Thank you. Just a little tip - many people don't have spare, old paint jars - I certainly don't. I've found using a cork is perfect - the smaller end fits straight between the tracks of most 15mm vehicles, and the soft cork material can be used to directly insert the little pins on the bottom of turrets.
Great tip!! Thank you!!😃🙌🙌
Thanks so much man, love your vids. Just did all my armour on this colour scheme. Looks great!
Thank you!!🤗 I would love to see pictures of that army.😍
@@jicsminiatures Certainly - once it's finished!! Will be painting for another few weeks!

Muchas gracias! Bienvenido!!!😄😄
Awesome tutorial, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!!😃🙌🙌
Im making some Team Yankee buildings and want to show some smoke (after fire) black damage. Is there a MIG or AK pigment powder that works? Can it also be used to show exhaust smoke on tanks.
Both AK and MIG have very good black pigments. For black smoke on buildings you can also use the airbrush, it gives very good effects. For exhaust my favorite is Nuln Oil.
Outstanding tutorial!
@@usekungfu thank you!!!🤗🤗🤗
Did you ever make that decals video? You painted an Iranian tank and had used decals.
No, I'm really sorry. I lost everything I had recorded, shit happens.😬 Someday I'll get back to it.😉
@@jicsminiatures i love your videos. They are so precise and informational.
@@bearcub460 thank you!!🤗🤗
I was wondering what painting handles you are using to hold the individual infantry? Trying to find a way to easily hold them has been the biggest challenge for me painting models at this scale so far.
I use 6mm Fischer Fixings Nylon Wall Plug. I glue the miniatures with PVA glue. It's a strong glue, but easy to remove. Just let it dry overnight. 👉 www.fischer.co.uk/en-gb/products/standard-fixings/plastic-fixings/expansion-plug-sx
@@jicsminiatures Oh cool. That is going to be really helpful. Thank you!
Is it still in stock on the official web address of Team Yankee Helicopter MI24?
I think so. 😉👉 www.flamesofwar.com/Default.aspx?tabid=79&CategoryID=13626&PageIndex=2
@@jicsminiatures ooh, sorry mister, I want to ask. Is this really produced from America?
@@RidhoPambudi-j8x No, neither the model nor the real helicopter.

Hell yeah man! Love your tutorials, easy to follow with paints easily displayed and steps slowly but not overly drawn out like every other channels, great video! Mum served desert storm onboard HMAS Sydney as apart of battlegroup Zulu, she has some crazy stories, cool to see the conflict represented on the tabletop!
Thank you very much for your kind words!! 🤗🤗
Would it be ok if you added a list of the paints to the description to make it easier to copy?
A screenshot of the Color Guide is the best option😉👍
Awesomeeeeee as always!!!😋😋😋
Thank you my friend!!😃🤗😍

Thank you!!🤗🤗🤗
As a new TY player I've found your videos really useful. You get a lovely effect on your vehicles especially. 👍

Hello fırst of all thank you for your efforts could you please make a video on how and with whic paints you paint empress miniatures abrams , stryker , bradley and similar empress miniatures modern military vehicles just with a brush without using an airbrush
Thank you!!😃I usually use the same techniques and colors for 15mm and 28mm. Painting without an airbrush would be very difficult for me, it saves a lot of time. When painting wargames, time is money.😉
For the love of everything, stop doing shorts! Know your audience, do you really think run of the mill miniature painters are of the stupid tiktok generation? I love your content but please, present it so I can watch it in the full 4k of my screen instead of some stupid 1 min form factor taking up not even 1/3 of it
I can't find time to edit long videos lately. Sorts are the "consolation prize"😂😂. All my love goes to long format videos.😍
Very cool and very unique way for using the wash as the first layer after priming, I’ve never seen this used in that way ever! The results are however quite impressive!! Thanks for the video! Cheers!
Can you do british tanks please Jics :D
I started editing a video about a Honey Stuart, but I left it due to lack of time. I hope to get back to it soon. I assume you've already seen this one.👉 th-cam.com/video/Es-WlCdisVA/w-d-xo.html

Whats this Type of Camo Called. Could I put it also on a Panzer 4? Or only for Panthers^^?
I have not seen any photos of Panzer IV with this striped camo, it is more common in Panthers and Jagdpanthers. This book is a very good guide to late colours. There are several very interesting Pz.4 models.😉 👉 ak-interactive.com/product/1945-german-colors-camouflage-profile-guide/
@@jicsminiatures thank you so much! Then i need a new Panther! Haha
@@dariostabletopminatures we always need more tanks!!😂😂
@@jicsminiatures and more room. Do you have a Video on how you store them?
@@dariostabletopminatures I don't have a video. I store them in a room with two display cases and boxes up to the ceiling.😄😄
I’ve been wondering if it was necessary to use Matt varnish for my team yankee Soviet units I was wondering. Do you need it, or it’s recommended?
@@ptyg_studios it's recommended to seal the decals, protect the paint and eliminate unwanted shine.
@@jicsminiatures hm. Seems interesting! Thanks for letting me know!
Could I use Tamiyas panel liner when creating shadows on the SU-25s?
Of course, you will get very similar results.😉
@@jicsminiatures ah, thanks!
really nice job! some of the minis look like characters from the excellent movie "sea of sand" (available on youtube and well worth a watch)
Thank you so much!! Great movie!😉👍
Thank you for sharing this, magnificent work
Thank you!!🤗🤗🤗
Excellent vid - use for my own stuff but one wee possible correction Vallejo 70.321 is HIGHLIGHT British Tank Crew. British Tank Crew colour itself is more khaki brown.
Thank you!!🤗 Yes, the word "highlight" is missing in front of the reference.😄
hey jics can you paint mot schutzen?
I'm sorry, I already have all the DDR infantry painted by a friend.😬
What do u use to deluge the Afrika wash with? I found think does t mix with it???
In this video I don't mix the Wash with anything. If you want to dilute it, you can do it with White Spirit AK 047 from AK.
Just found your channel. Been watching them. Brilliant idea of listing the paints on a quick flash at the start.
Thank you!! Welcome to the Channel!!🤗😉

Thank you!! Enjoy painting!!😉😉
Thank you! Great Job. I use Strong Tone from Army Painter. Pretty Happy with it....but sometimes it leaves a Glossy Look. Any Idea?
Thank you!!🤗 When Strong Tone dries, apply a thin layer of Vallejo Matt Varnish 62.062 (airbrush) or 72.651 (brush) or 28.531 (spray). 😉
Great job!!
Thank you!!!🤗🤗
