As long as you have some good general knowledge about off-road driving and reading a line you should be okay with a blue tour. If your unsure while your in a tour just ask for a spot. I will say that one key thing to keep in mind is these trails are rated on a 4dr jeep scale so some points will require 2 or 3pt turns but that's normal Gladiator's are the same way

The trails we took I know well. But the trails do change with weather. There was no concern for the trails for the truck to flip. Biggest key is slow as possible fast as necessary. He did very well controlling his speed and using 4wd low. This is prome example why to have a lead that knows the area and terrain and also as a driver not being over confident or arrogant. The driver in the blue Tacoma followed all these things and was always self aware. Very good questions and I'm glad you asked them. Thing is in off-road things can and do happen. Key there is to make sure everyone is safe and know your recovery methods. That is why I'm an instructor at the stage 5 off-road safety school at Merus.

Myself and a few others are regular guides. For your stock Toyota Highlander a green tour would be a great starting point. This would help give you an idea on park and where to go from there on your build. Come on out and enjoy a weekend of camping and off-road

Solid axle versus independent but line choice make a difference as well

@@White_buffalo_4r after the tour we played at the test track and the playground. And ran 101, Mars, Back 40, and Lonesome dove! We missed you on Lonesome Dove, we made it with no problems or damage but would have loved to have your expertise!

We are just regular trail leads with Merus Adventure Park. I usually try to record part of the obstacles with my phone and just pair the videos together

This is actually the test track that we did after the tour. But the green tour is still a day of trails with a few lighter side of blue trails if the group is going well. Great thing about the test track is there's challenges but with a way around or even ways to get assistance if needed easier.
