Riding Belize - Western Highway

In this video we detail the process we used for our subfloor in our 170 ext Sprinter van build. We utilized 3/4 inch polyiso board and furring strips along with vinyl diamond style flooring in the garage area of the van. I highly recommend checking out videos from Greg Virgoe who's flooring technique was a big inspiration for what we did in our build.

I’m not too happy with the newly installed Sportscraft swivel in my 2014 Sprinter (passenger side). It raised the seat 1 3/4”, it’s difficult to get into the right position to unlock and rotate, and my feet barely touch the ground while facing forward and dangle while facing backward (I’m 5’8”). It’s not the sweet improvement I was hoping for and am wondering the additional cost of the Scopema is worth it.
Van Motorson It's been a little over two years, are you happy with these iBoards? Great video, but I wish you would have shown video of you standing on them. How much do they flex? For some reason you froze the frame at that point. Thanks!

What size of plywood did you use? 3/4 or 1/2 ?
These seats would be great if you could actually put your feet on the floor.
Does your seats now wiggle while you are accelerating or braking? I want to get swivel seats but hoping to end up with a seat that is just as tight as stock configuration with no front back rocking while driving.

On the driver side theres a fuel line right next to it mine is a 2016 and a pain in the rear I'm probably going to loosen the fuel line and see what happens
Jose Mares Hi, I also have a 2016 with factory rear AC so there’s a bunch of AC lines (I don’t think they are gas line) did you have success installing the running board?

Thx for the video. One comment: make it short and sweet, no need to spend so much time on the ratchet wrench. I found myself skipping ahead. Focus more on the complicated parts.

Thanks! Just installed in my Sprinter. Like your video, it feels like putting the plastic housing back on the handbrake was the hardest part of the whole process!

I like your video, simple and effective. Slow motion in camera movements, no thunderous music, clear explanations of how and why, overview of necessary tools (whisky :-)). In short, I love it. I am a French Canadian, I am preparing my van to travel the American roads. Maybe our roads will cross each other. Good luck

Hello! We have not had any clicks or rattles or movement. We pop in and out if the seats regularly as does our puppy so we would probably have noticed any issues by now. None to report!

interesting! what cell phone provider are you using with that device?
You mentioned upload and download speed improvement. Does this also help with wifi reception or do you have to get a separate device?
Hello, this particular model boosts cellular signals only, so hotspots from the mobile companies get improved speeds. Weboost does make a booster that boosts traditional wifi signals and the setup and install is very similar.
