Very encouraging interview, thanks so much for being you Jared. I appreciate your honest and transparency. What really spoke to me was when you where talking about finding a challenge outside our comfort zone. In other words do something or be part of something, God can grow us up in, equipping us to serve Him, making us a better disciple of Jesus. For some reason at times we buy into the fact if we pray more, give more, witness more and sin less. we might escape from being tested or have trials. I know most of us, if we are totally honest would deny that we are not that bad :) But to be honest I can’t find one scripture that would support believers escaping hardship, trials, testing in the bible. I suppose we at times avoid pain like the plague. But it was a real encouraging message for me to know we are not alone with discussions we need to talk about and decisions we need to make every day, so thank you! I just started going to believers church a while ago and have been growing in Gods love, forgiveness and discovering grace is always up to the challenge to help me through what ever I need to face. FYI, your loved one is still blessing lives from heaven. I do not know her but I felt compelled to watch her memorial and I was touched. I am sorry for your pain, intensity and duration.

Thank you for talking about the things that give us the tools we need to move forward in our relationship with Jesus. Thank you for naming these tools and saying it’s ok for this to happen. People in general do not get to hear about these things. I for one am grateful for the believers church leadership and the community they foster.
