C’est très complexe pour moi car l’entrée 1 est en fait la 33 et ainsi de suite donc compliqué de faire et comprendre les inserts sur cette table si ex3 car le pc win10 enregistre les concerts et je n’ai pas encore stagebox
Thank you sir!
Usually VST Host is good tool for additional VST-Au_AAX instruments on separate computer. You don't explain these features of LiveProfessor app.
Do I need a DAW software to use Liveprofessor? Or just by connecting my computer to the console is that communication possible?
No daw needed, it's a shame nobody answerew this question
@ thank you for your answer, and yes, I wondered the same, how it is possible that nobody could answered my question 🤷🏻♂️
@@albertopalos9093Also please note unless you have a digital mixer the daw would probably be your only choice to do this setup. I forgot I did this with my digital mixer. th-cam.com/video/rMbrF_yGpoo/w-d-xo.html

Hi Paul, ver good video. Do I need a DAW software (e.g. Ableton, Logic Pro, Cubase, etc.) to use them for live sound? Or is Liveprofessor Software enough?

does it work live waves emotion ?
Cool. I've just set-up my propresenter 7 in church for stage and audience display. The problem I'm facing is that my own monitor display has been affected. It's no longer full display and the propresenter app is cut off on the left and right of the my monitor. Any idea on how I can fix that? I don't know if it's a propresenter issue or a system issue.
your buffer size is on 512, how do u manage the latency with this, because I'm running on 196 with my 2018 Mac book pro, when i was running on 512 the latency was obvious, with 196 can't really do much channels
Good question, so we’ve never really had an issue at that latency. If you look at the reported latency, it’s a little over 6ms. While that would absolutely cause phasing issues, we run iems and you should never feed this signal into the bands ears. The latency would most certainly throw everyone off. This only goes to foh. When that is the case, there’s no real reference to the original timing so it’s not noticeable in the room. Hope that makes sense!
💪👌
you are running on a big buffer size how do you manage the latency
The easiest answer to fix my issue. Thank you!!
Please we will be very grateful to learn how you patched the trigger hardware through your drums down to Life Professor
I am going to try everything you just said once i lay my hands on a console
Thank you so much
Thanks Paulie!
Wow something so simple under my nose saves me making video edits.
Curious what happened with the network that Dante stopped working? Sounds like it was not able to centrally run with a key piece of equipment out.
But a really good band doesn't need a click they can synchronize themselves to the time Code well they go crazy! HAHAHHAHA.
Dude can you keep the camera still??
😂
How can I insert vst into the main LR bus on the mixer from Live professor 2?
It’s a matter of patching. Not sure what console you are on but you would need to figure out how to patch your main L/R to an external insert and patch it to two channels via usb to live professor.
@@paulmitro6896 I’m using Behringer Wing
Emergency annointing oil! lets go :D Just dump that guy on the console and you'll have sounds so heavenly people will start flying ;)

Soooooo. Since I’m running Ableton through danté to my board (from on stage) can I just pull an output and run that over to my Mac Mimi for vist3?
I'm currently in the same boat and have the same question
If you wanted to replace just the snare and didn't have a powerful enough machine to run the whole drum kit, couldn't you measure the total latency for the snare going through Live Professor and then manually compensate for that in the console on the other channels?
what's the latency?
I used to use an interface to get out from Ableton, now I connect Ableton via USB straight into the soundboard and that interface nos is used to receive time code in propresenter.
Thank you!!
Hi Paul just watching your video I will some few walk through on how to route my logic to my Yamaha TF5 for live stream using logic as my processor and TF my audio source, I do also have a dante sound card. Any advice?
Just came across your channel, have you tried using this live in the house yet? what's the specs on your machine?
Good explanation. I’ve been testing this board with Waves SuperRack but for some reason the audio sounds doubled. Any idea what could it be? Channel is routed to a mix bus instead of directly to the mains.
Hi. Thanks for video. Sq 5 is showing only outputs no inputs. Do you know what might be a problem? Thanks.
The only thing that gives this incoherent “tutorial” any merit is that you actually made the effort to record a rambling, disjointed stream-of-consciousness mess of sentences to explain the basics of getting the program to run, as opposed to the actual company that makes the product, who clearly don’t give a damn to provide any support for the product at all. Bonus to you for actually finally getting around to explaining something, uh, sort of, around the 12 minute and 30 second mark. 😂 ugh
glad I could be so helpful!
Dude thank you
Hey question for ya. I use a monitoring fx when i listen to audio on my computer. so Im wondering, how would i instead of using the input into liveprofessor, use the output of what my computer audio is hearing then back out with the fx on it
How do you set up I/O in the console to route to and from the software? I have the same console, but haven't figured out the routing in and out of the software yet.
Maybe late to the party but: The SI consoles have dadicated expansion cards. One of them is the USB/MADI expansion Card, which makes the console act like a very complex audio interface. It allows you to play out audio via your PC, like media players, youtube or your DAW of choice. You can also recieve mixer outputs as inputs to your PC, to record them. This could be eather (mix-) busses including ST and Mono, matrices, your console's monitoring-section signal or channel direct-outs. Best regards.
@@patrickm.4310 thanks! For some reason it wasn't as intuitive going into LP as going into my DAW but as we always do, I eventually figured it out lol
You are awesome! Employ a company like 'Promosm'!
Hi Paul! Thanks for your content! I am new to LiveProfessor2 even though I am - at this time - definitely not performing live but enjoying all my nice RGB LED buttons and plugins and DAWs in my cave. Haha. I am a hobby metal/rock drummer and a physicist to earn a living. :-) And comming from an acoustic drums set I had to learn on Xmas 2019 that edrums don't suck! Damn! There are sooo beautiful. I am now using Superior Drummer 3 and besides I developed a bad VST plugin collecting syndrome. Anyway I started with Toontracks EZDrummer2 and Plogue Bidule to do the MIDI remapping for the cheap ekit for the kids. ;) Then I swiched to Toontracks Superior Drummer 3 and those bad guys missed out the sent-program-change-MIDI message-to-switch-presets ability. 😕 So I grabbed a copy Cantabile 3.0 Solo that does not support "States" ( snapshots in LiveProfessor2) the Performer version will, but it's quite expensive. And then I got to know about LP2. And ... yeaheeee, woooow! Since I have here some MIDI controllers like the nanoKontrol2 or AKAI LPD8 Live Professors MIDI capabilities are awesome. I try to figure out to switch between several "banks" since Korg doesn't support a bank change on their nanoKONTROL2s 😞 AND to switch the mappings between the Superior Drummer 3 instances. Unfortunately the MIDI Mute is useless when using the MIDI mapping to plugin way or am I wrong? Is there any way to put a plugin on the "main out" like VU meter, compressor etc.?
hi … i have a RME babyface can i use live professor to add some plugins BEFORE entering in the daw? so i can have the processed audio in input already ready?
Hi! As a hobbyist VST drummer I would say... No, not that easy. I would think that your RME device is then used by LiveProfessor2 and there will be issues when starting the DAW. Did you try that already? I mean I also have here the ASIO Link Pro tool and there will be definitely a way to configure it like the way you want it. But ... why? I mean, the CPU load will be there. So why not using the FX in the DAW? You will safe the LiveProfessor2 CPU power :-)
@@eDrumsInANutshell you are totally right my friend ahah Thanx for the reply Anyway i’d lile to have some effect before the daw Just because i’m a pro voice talent And will be usefull to have at least some noise reduction and a bit of compression Ready in the interface So when i’ll be recording live via session link or source connect The client can have the voice already ready a bit! :)
Hi! Great video! Thanks for the info. Question, about running drums through liveprofessor, you said is recommended to run all the mics through the software to avoid time and phase issues, if I’m only want to process the kick drum, should I add the same plugins to every microphone and make it inactive on the rest of the channels? That’s what I get from your video, please correct me if I’m wrong! One more thing, how would you process the drum group bus from the console in liveprofessor? Which input and output should I use? Or is it better to process each channel separately in liveprofessor first and then process the drum group in the console? Sorry for so many questions! I hope you can guide me! Thank you!
I’m a huge fan of buss processing on drums. Think of the drum sound as a whole first, then process each input. As far as timing/phase issues, the biggest issue is making sure everything is running through LP. That will be the most noticeable issue. Each plug in will display their added latency so you can tell if you will need to run them on all your drum channel or not. Hope that makes sense!
Propresenter 6 haha
hey bro, thanks for your time! I've been using LP on a Digico SD10 console, via Waves Card, using QRec, on an M1 Pro 16gb, but I've had errors with clips similar to clock noise, and it's been keeping me awake! I'm using about 5 chains in at most 10 plugins! my cpu is no more than 30%! Have you had any experience with this? thank you for the answer! hugs
I had same problem. Try to remove reverbs. H-reverb was problem in my case.. CPU around 20%, but noise was there.
