technically yes, with something like process stub. though, i’d advise against that, as it tends to activate things like anti cheats. so, if you’re planning on doing anything with online games, it’d be best to do it on a burner account with an ip hider or something, if you dare to do it at all

Main issue I wanted to blast the game by texture changing and other stuff, I don't care. Vector engine doesn't work properly for NSMBW, so I have to use Nightmare engine. Nightmare engine always makes my game crash/trigger killswitch.
question, is it possible to corrupt steam games?
technically, probably with something like file stub or process stub, but it could very well cause irreparable damage to them? also, it would be much harder to get a corruption that doesn't crash or trigger the killswitch, considering that would be more directly affect the application rather than ram, or something like that. best bet is to stay away from it, imo

im still so confused on how even get games in the first place
search around the internet long enough, and you'll probably find some then, in dolphin specifically, you can go to options > preferences > paths and then set a dedicated path to a folder where you have all your games
