Many years ago I was guiding UK Yamaha Diversion club to Portree from Ft. William, 37 bikes. On the way back spotting road down to ferry quick decision was made to take it. Superb experience, especially views to Glen Shiel. Back at Ft.Bill in the pub the troops were ecstatic about their day❤

I remember when the Kings late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, was reposing in St Giles Cathedral, and even though I was living just over 20 miles from london at the time, I decided to drive to Scotland to pay my respects as I knew I would have more chance of being able to do this than in London. And so I drove through the night to Edinburgh and was there at first light, and duly managed to get into the cathedral later that day to pay my respects. I think I will return soon in my little caravan as I miss Scotland very much. I was born in England to Scottish and Irish parents but have felt drawn back for so long now to my Celtic roots that I need to return soon. And for good. So what if it's cold! The feelings of belonging somewhere are more than warm. Thank you for the video dear. 🙋👍🙏🇮🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🕊️

In all the time I lived in Scotland I don't understand how I never got to see this huge spanner-looking phenomenon! It's absolutely marvellous. And the Kelpies too! Maybe I just didn't like crowds! But hey, I think I'll make a date for the autumn when the midges are nearly gone and I might have me caravan so I can come back up for an extended visit. Maybe even stay!!Hooray!
