I love IP, but not everything needs to be IP. I personally love the Lost Continent and wish it would stay the same, just add 1 or 2 rides, or more. I’m not big into Zelda. Not a fan. But with that said, I wasn’t too keen on super Nintendo World or How to Train Your Dragon either, but now I’m extremely excited for those lands in Epic, so I assume I’ll feel the same for Zelda eventually. Just sad to see Lost Continent go. But something definitely needs to be done there SOON!

We interrupt this watch, at 8:15, to note that the jump from explaining how Belushi and Aykroyd assembled a band that really was powerful enough to turn goat p1ss into gasoline, to saying Diagon Alley needs a Big Ben drop tower, encapsulates the duality of the human brain as well as you can without growing a second head (and optional third arm).

I think I missed about what to replace Dudley do rights with, I think it should be something like Mrs. Puff’s Boating School with the drop themed to going to rock bottom. I love the idea of the Zelda land i just would do a different model of coaster. I’d also settle for some sort of indoor show/attraction themed to a water temple level and try and save the one thing about Poseidons fury everyone loved, the water vortex. (I know I’ve heard rumors that’s precisely why they had to close it for so long, but I really love that effect.)

What is the shooter obsession? They are literally thr most boring and pointless attractions. I dont want 3 or 4 of them now lol And I have done the new minions one

While I do like the ideas for the Harry Potter stuff, I feel they should have that at the upcoming UK location.

I love your Jurassic and Seuss lands ideas. Jurassic is definitely a HUGE IP that everyone loves, next to HP. Jurassic needs at least 4 rides. Overall only thing I disagree with is I think the currently standing but empty theatre building in Toon Lagoon be transformed for a Marvel live action stunt show. The building is literally right next to Super Hero Island, all Universal would need to do would be to literally take that area from TL and give it to MSHI, just moving the boundaries. Universal needs more shows IMO.

My favorite part was 24:45 where you propose the tree swap between the tropical and deciduous trees to fit the new spongbob and zelda islands, that's a 10D chess move that really preserves the soul of this park! Your video editing is improving with each video!

Love your idea and with re-working I think it's absolutely the way forward for them. I think Universal Studios is in a bit of an identity crisis right now that all the studio parks are in. I think the idea of doing SOME KIND of major Universal movie ride is absolutely necessary to breathe thematic life into the park. Keeping some kind of Hollywood/set entrance anchored by a fantastic movie ride would go a long way to allowing the other lands to feel like "movies come to life" spanning off that anchoring ride.

Universal cant make new marvel rides tho

Pretty sure the licenses expire to the marvel stuff my guess is they won’t renew considering Disney owns them. Maybe they can get DC comics license them Batman etc…

Will there be a Captain America Ferris wheel that shields you from rain?

There should be a Boris Karloff track and Jim Carrey track dueling against each other, and keep Carey’s track in the back so it doesn’t ruin the toon/drawing feeling of Dr. Seuss.

A Knight bus coaster would be so awesome and fitting. I would love to ride that.

Hey I think you bring great ideas but to add some insights from the park, the area behind fast and furious also includes employee wardrobe, employee cafeteria, employee bus stations and bus routes, and other back of house services. The tents behind simpsons/ men in black facilitate universal creative teams/ necessary in park storage, plus some employee break rooms.

I might not be the majority in this idk… but I’d be much more annoyed with a SpongeBob themed land even tho I’ll admit you made a great pitch for it. I would much rather they go get the LoonyToons rights like they wanted originally. They’d prolly get it cheap to since WB is in financial trouble. Second I get if someone doesn’t ride a water ride because they dont want to get wet… but if you get off a water ride complaining you got too wet as opposed to not wet enough you’re…. special.

I always wished they left Jurassic park.. Jurassic park and just made a major renovation to it. Then made a separate Jurassic world land based of the theme park in the movie.

Love the Seuss ideas! It would be great for each land to have its own icon and mount crumpet would be perfect

I personally am not super familiar with Zelda, but IP seems themepark friendly. Love the idea of a coaster that goes through the land and over the lagoon. Sorr of a Zelda version of Velicicoaster. I did hear about a possible suspended boat ride that might go here.

But dew sets before park close, when the temp drops. The cover would also trap water once the sun came up raising temp.

Super super good video. Subbed. The Mt. Crumpet idea is fantastic, showing sneetch beach some love, excellent. This land deserves more love. Regarding Toon Lagoon... SpongeBob is such an obvious fit. The translucent seashell canopy is sneaky genius. The issue is... and you mentioned it... is the IP is everywhere. But the ROI is still massive. You already mentioned Krabby patties, kelp shakes & other merchandise ideas. For the waterfront, I actually suggested somewhere that a Boating School attraction with Ms Pufferfish, would be awesome. A collection of battery powered boats capable of seating four, going through a driver course would also be a people eater plus should not cost a ton.

Love your idea for Seuss landing though it will be better to update Cat in the Hat instead of changing it to the sequel since the Cat in the Hat is more well known. For Jurassic Park, I really disagree with your ideas. One, the theming should be consistent. Making it a hodge podge will make it worse. Either stay Jurassic Park or go Jurassic World. I may get hate for this, but I would say just go full Jurassic World at this point. Pandora’s box has been open since velocicoaster opened. So there is no going back. Attempting to make the river adventure and safari ride timeless just makes it look like a jumbo mess. In fact, have the Indominus rex in both doesn’t make it timeless, it is stating that it takes place in Jurassic World. Here’s how I would do it. For setup, in velicicoaster, the ride goes well and nothing goes wrong, but then Claire is heard telling Owen to go to the River Adventure due to an issue. At the Jurassic World River Adventure ride it will be same as the one in hollywood for the most part. The Mosasaurus part is remove because it doesn’t fit for this version. Take out the dinosaur that don’t work while putting in some new ones, especially those that are seen in the river shot with the kayak boats from Jurassic World. Have the Parasaurolophus be the same in the morning,but at night, glowing the dark like in Camp Cretaceous. Same as hollywood, change the raptor paddock to Indomius Rex paddock having already escape and Claire and Owen helping you get to safety. Unfortunate, you have to go up to the restricted zone where dinosaurs too dangerous for the park are (Allosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Stygimoloch, etc.’. In fact, the last thing I would change is swapping the Trex for the Carnotaurus to flow with the story. After the drop, we hear Claire telling Owen that the Indominus is heading for the Gyrosphere ride. Thats right, the new ride is the Gyrosphere ride. I don’t have a full idea of the story ride, but some pointers. Have the Indominus chase like in Beijing, but also have the Indominus catch you and try to break the Gyrosphere but then escape thanks to a distract (not sure what). Had the Trex swapped from river adventure, because she will be featured in this ride. Thats all I can think of for now.

Absolutely love your ideas. I watched both videos for both parks and as a TM and a musician my favorite idea is the big theatre for Jimmy Fallon. It’s sad how few opportunities there are for real classically trained performers in the parks.
