Had to get back to Lake Mead since the last couple trips have been epic! This time Jen was with me wanting to get in on the action. We weren't disappointed, even though the wind (forecasted light/variable) was absolutely howling...we crushed the Striper. We found fish inside and outside the coves, one after the other for another epic trip on Lake Mead. And to wrap the day up, we had an awesome meal of fresh fried Striper nugs!

Another epic Lake Mead trip! Started out catching Striper before the sun even rose! And then I got on top of a massive school of Striper, you know where it goes from there. Light winds predicted, it was howling by noon but I had already been crushing it all morning so I didn't mind getting off the water a little early. Epic! Thanks For Watching, Tight Lines! Newcastle Reservoir, are there really fish in there? I've asked myself this a few times because every time I fished Newcastle I've had little luck. Chose your variable. Are there fish in Lake Mead? I've often contemplated this while fishing in the depths of January on Mead. I didn't have to contemplate that on this trip, the Stripers were everywhere! Returning to Lake Mead after almost two years and this is how I was greeted, boil after boil of Stripers. It was awesome! Casting, trolling, spoon or jerk bait. They were taking it!
