I think some trans men identify as feminists because they were hurt by being treated female because they're trans men and they think that all women feel this way when they don't. I get why a trans man would make that connection, but cis women do not expiernce it the same as us and I know if I were a woman I wouldn't mind at all being treated like a woman, the only reason it bothers me now is because it means people don't see me as male and I'm not a feminine person so their assumptions of me and what I like are wrong and they try to engage me into conversation in ways that just don't interest me.

The problem with saying that some Trans* people being afraid of being out/outed around alot of cis people, is that *IS* a potential danger to some people. Trans people are not fully accepted. Trans people are still getting killed and have a lot of negative connotations around them. Being cautious and wooried about your safety isn't cisphobic. This is DIFFERENT from a white person actively choosing to not associate with black people.

I feel you dude! I am really transmasculine and non binary and it's been really hard trying to find role models that are non binary.. I find myself sometimes doubting how I identify because people can be really hateful on both sides! Don't lose sight of who you are! No matter what cis or trans people say.

Feminism IN 'the dictionary' is fine. It's feminism OUTSIDE 'the dictionary' that a lot of people have a problem with. I'm not against 'equality' (in the nicest, sanest meaning of the word*) but actual feminists in the real world are nuts. A lot of them anyway. You've got feminists defending the statutory rape of boys for god's sake. Sharon Osborne, 'The Talk', laughing about cutting off a man's penis. Now, you may say "Oh, Sharon's not a feminist then.". Fine but she and her audience (and talk shows joking about Lorena Bobbitt) illustrate a point: society is not FOR men and AGAINST women which kind of destroys the entire feminist narrative of "Women are oppressed. Men are the oppressors.". If you say that the feminist narrative is that "everyone is oppressed by the patriarchy" then I can only conclude that there are a whole lot of 'fake feminists' giving feminism a bad name and just about zero 'real feminists' trying to set things right. *All NFL players are men. Should we fire half of them and put in women? If so, won't those women likely be smooshed? Remember, we can't give the women MORE body armor so... Women live longer than men. Seems to me we should try to focus more on men's health. Men are way over represented in the prisons. Seems to me we should either free a bunch of them or arrest a bunch of women. That would be 'equality'. So my point is really that 'equality' isn't a simple concept.

Except gender feminists and TERFs are anti-trans. Not very equal.

Not only ftm but if u sort of have dysphoria how do you know if its from an Ed or a gender thing? I am 37 and only accepting beig ok with being lesbian. I have been in a reparative Christian therapy situation for 17 years (yeah) hectic and also had a loooong list of shit in my past so relate to how you didn't have time for you until later. I have only started to accept that I am not going to hell, for about a year. So have a lot of "coming out" stuff to deal with. I came out fully when I was 20 but then got "saved" -so 17 years later here I am again. You do seem like a nice guy, but try to plan your videos before filming, write something down, a script, your personal story, then use that to guide you. I did kinda get lost in this video, it might of just been me. Don't get me wrong I'm no expert TH-cam, just addicted to it.
