Winter in Alberta/Canada in 2024 with very little snow. The bison ranch struggles to provide water to the animals every 2 hours because of the harsh freezing temperatures. Still there is always time to play.

Southern Alberta Cowboy Country

Unsuccessful elk hunt in the Jenner area. Southern Alberta is often referred to as "cowboy country" because of its strong cowboy and ranching culture. The region is known for its vast grasslands, rolling foothills, and prairie landscape, which make it ideal for cattle ranching and farming. The cowboy tradition in southern Alberta dates back to the late 1800s when the area was settled by ranchers...

Love your farm❤
Which is better? Bear meat or good old beef?
Crazy mixed-up and disjointed video. ???? What were the editors smoking?
Yeah easily the biggest waste of my time watching.

Sabine, im planing a trip to fish a carp to Last Mountain Lake mid August. What would bea good spot to set up a tent and fish for 3 nights, looking for remote privacy and good catch for carp. Thanks!
Anywhere on the lake is good for carp,we always camp on an island,if you have a boat. Thanks
Hello Sabine. Nice catch. Is carp active on the beginning of August? Thanks
all summer
Very nice, can you tell me where exactly that spot ? I'm looking for nice spots at Last Mountain Lake for shore fishing not boat

Why didn’t you just dress him where he went down?
I dressed him after I pulled him out on the trail because where he was you could not see far in a few directions and I saw a huge grizzly bear just that morning and you have to be more careful when you are alone, this is over a 100km from anything or anybody. Thanks
Nice little meat bull and after I watched the rest of the vid I see you having trouble with some creeks and shit. This won't be as much of the problem but as I saw the winch does come in handy for that.
Hey my friend, let me give you a little tip and this will go much easier next time. Use the chain saw to cut out the horns. Next tie a rope ( I use 3/4" but 1/2 or 5/8" will probably do it) and tie it to your front bumper. Do not use your winch cause it might fuck it up. Run the rope under the Quad and use a clevis attached the draw bar. I carry two clevis so when you put the second clevis on the first your rope will line up properly through it. Clevis just has to be big enough to get it on the drawbar. So run the rope through the second clevis and tie it on the moose or elk. I've done this a time or two so I also have a strong horse halter which I put on the moose. This allows it to pull straight. The clevis will keep the rope out of the back wheels so then, as before pick your line and cleanup some of the deadfall and bigger shit. Pop it into gear and go like hell. The rope tied the front bumper/rack will suck the front end down and now you have a real 4X4. This is really handy especially if your by yourself. I've got a really easy way to get it into your pickup too. Send me a message if that's something that might be useful. Happy Hunting.
Usually not a big deal but this was an extreme long pull for over 65 km and it was late in the season with the snow pretty deep, once he is hung by the horn base off the rear rack with the shoulder off the ground its easy enough but when you start pushing snow with your belly pan you spinn out more then you like pulling this much weight. thanks for looking at it and let me know pick up loading scheme
Canmore's amazing! We stayed there a few years ago and checked out Banff the same time. Love this little town. We didnt have much time to hike though!
I've shot many moose in my life...pulling the trigger is the easy part but the reward with the meat is worth the effort... It always excited me.
Ya there is nothing like moose hunting unfortunately draws are taking ever longer to get
Absolutely beautiful my friends, thanks for sharing with us, take care n have fun...
New subscriber, absolutely beautiful my friend, thanks for sharing..

Gorgeous piece. I love the rich values here. The blue/greens in the water against the splashes of warm oranges in the trees create a wonderful contrast. This is beautiful landscape work 👌😊 -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. -Huge 👍's up!
Thank you so much!!

Nice ! Ms and Mr Hahnel on TH-cam there is channel "fishing way". Those russians catching hundreds pounds of carp every time when coming on lake. All the fish taking away. Perhaps for eating maybe for illegal sell between russian speaking community who knows they don't let the fish come back in water .For all this time they catch thousands pounds of carp The police can stop those animal predators? Catching of many many fish is it legal ? Is look like on poaching. I suppose every fishman can take for eating several fish but not so many Sir. I came to Canada many times and I love this beautiful country. I'm from Nederlands and can't to do something to stop this mess. Please if is possible do something. Don't let them to kill this rare and valuable variety of Last Mountain Lake
There is no limit or regulations on carp at all,you can catch and keep as many as you want and by any method you want like rod, bow, spear you name it but thanks for your concern Don't worry there are incredible numbers of big carb in last mountain
great work, love this!
Thank you sooo much!!
What part of the lake is this?
Anywhere in the shallows.
Der Karpfen hätte wohl nicht geschmeckt, war schon zu alt, oder ?
Nein, schmeckt immer gut!
