What I felt the summary of the video is that we as humans are more similar to herbivores than carnivores so eat veg food. I am a meat eater but not frequent only on occasions what I felt that it was a simple argument that was repeated again and again. I see you are writing doctor in your name so give also the science behind it for example research papers, science articles etc rather than giving simple blunt words like do this. Tell me I may be wrong but I learned in my childhood that humans are ominivores. Also the things about the protein that he mentioned we can get good quality proteins from veg foods I may or maynot agree it but I am not sure about it on the quantity of proteins that can be attained by eating the same amounts. And then the doctors will recommend protein supplements to take as we will not be able to fulfill the protein requirements in case we are also gymming and building muscles. I feel like taking a supplement is like taking a medicine and I have some sort of deficiency that cannot be cleared only by my day to day food may be I might be wrong but I am open to learn. Also we are more similar to a species that doesn't imply that copy the things that they are doing and ignore the rest that are different from us.

human body is literally designed to be omnivorous. our teeth is neither like cows nor like lions. we have canine so that we can eat meat. our digestive tract can digest meat. certain vitamins like vitamin b12 is only found in meat based foods. the problems you mentioned comes from overconsumption of meat. a balanced diet is we need. lets break down your points: humans can totally digest protein in meat. meat/egg/milk protein is the easiest protein to digest. eggs are one of the most nutritious food a human can eat. the way of drinking water is a stupid analogy. we drink water using glass. when we were in wild we used to take water in our hands and drink. what is even your point? *you were making all of the comparison between herbivore and carnivore, we dont fall to any of the two category.* we dont have strong jaws because cooking affected our evolution. overtime our jaw became smaller because cooking food (including meat) made it softer. strong and large jaws werent necessary herbivores like cows have special bacteria to break down grass from which they can later get protein. i cant see that mechanism in humans. they have longer digestive tract that us. carnivores have smaller than us. we fall in between cus we are OMNIVORES. they dont use any chemicals except antibiotics, if we buy eggs and meat from local farmers who dont use antibiotics or even farm raised animal after the duration of presence of antibiotics, its all safe. protien from vegetarian diet is not complete protein. multiple vegan dishes combined make complete protein. also, vegan sources of protein has more carbs and fats than animal sources. animal foods are the ONLY natural dietary source of vitamin d3. again, meat protein is easier to digest than vegan ones. dal is more likely to cause bloating than meat. weather you get protein from vegan foods or meat, it is all broken down to amino acids regardless, so the best source is meat becuase it is complete and more concentrated. fibres are not enough when you solely follow carnivore diet. i have already said, MEAT AND PLANTS. NOT MEAT OR PLANTS OR MEAT VS PLANTS. what kind of misinformation are you spreading? did u skip highschool biology class? goat get protein from grass now you try eating grass you will get indigestion. every specie is different, please dont make meaningless comparisons. vegtarian cooked foods have very low protien content, it contains more of carb. Basically this video is filled with logical fallacies and misinformation. if you dont trust research done by others please do your own scientific research. if you think science is so wrong what makes you think your 'senses' or tradition is correct? they are more prone to be wrong than hundreds of peer reviewed researches from different parts of the world. you have no proof that each and every one of them is funded my meat producers. speaking about traditions, we all used to be meat eaters before invention of agriculture. so veganism is a new phenomenon. meat eating is more traditional than veganism. if you could provide any evidence that a BALANCED diet with proper amounts ad proper choice of ANIMAL AND PLANTS is worse than complete veg, i will become vegan the very day. i dont care about taste or greed, i believe in science and nutrition

First of all, respect your time and patience for elaborately writing such a detailed reply. secondly, we did test studies for b12 with different people with varied diets and found that b12 has nothing to do with meat in fact vegetarians had the highest amount of b12 present among all good you mention humans dring milk with glass do u sip the water from the glass with your tongue or u use your lips? the lips are used to create suction rather than pulling the water with the tongue so it's not stupid it's just ur not observant enough(I try to cut short in the video as people don't have the patience to watch a video for hours that not including details on why and how all that) when in the wild take water in hand and sip with lips not throw it down the throat. Regarding the jaws cooking did not affect the jaws the evolution of the brain was another topic. anyway if u believe that cooking makes our jaws weak then how come we can chew carrots and not chew meat without cooking? can you bite off raw meat? I can bite and chew raw vegetables. our body breaks down and rebuilds the protein required we have that mechanism like herbivores. our body in fact can make anything it wants even from carbs if you know how to and believe it. That's a whole different physiology chapter. again vitamins are produced inside the body as required from the raw material Vit d3 is produced from a type of cholesterol through sunlight exposure not from foods. you don't get d3 from food directly. in fact, nothing u take in in natural form is absorbed by the body as it is. not even fat. fat is also converted to carbs and then again to fats if not used. get your facts right first. Don't just rely on research papers study some textbooks as well animals get their protein from plants, right? So how is that a better choice? get your raw material from natural sources rather than from processed foods I made a video in simple layman's terms for simple people to understand who doesn't understand the complex "science and nutrition" research but that doesn't me I just read or hear stories and say things from imagination. science is observing nature and not believing in peer-reviewed research papers. coz all the discoveries start from looking at nature. we have moved our focus away from nature like the sun and rely on supplements instead coz research says that. Don't go out in the sun u might get cancer from UV and hey take vitamin supplements to get D3 wow nice science you have there. again who told you we were meat eaters? there are chimpanzees if your science believes we evolved from monkeys then they used to eat something called fruits and nuts and rarely eat meat if nothing was available. if meat was good enough and hunting was what we needed then why invent complex agriculture? why? Have you asked that question? someone who wrote those school textbooks has seen nature (eg Newton) and written those books and we forget that. there is so much evidence. Yogis and Hindus have lived centuries with healthy minds and bodies without any meat but today heart attack is a common cause of disease, RA is present in hundreds, and we regularly see patients with severe gut issues who are "balanced diet" consumers. The body doesn't only follow simple physics it follows quantum laws as well hence our study has limits coz those rules are different.

@@becomingwiser thank you for you reply, but again you are wrong. there is not a single natural vegan source of vitamin b12. vitamin b12 comes from diary, meat and fermented foods (low levels in fermented foods, not a reliable source). from a scientific point of view, even diary are non vegan (not talking from cultural or ethical point of view). so you need to depend on eating other living organisms to get a important vitamin. some algae and mushrooms contain vitamin b12 but they are rare or have trace amounts, not at all enough. in your test, your vegans might have consumed vitamin b12 fortified foods, which is a recent thing and hence need not consider from evolution pov. Otherwise they must have consumed diary (non vegan) i was saying drinking of water has got nothing to do with meat eating. those are just coincidence. dont go finding patterns that doesnt exist. its like saying sun is white, paper is white so sun is made of paper. logical fallacy of false analogy. Around 70 percent of indians are meat eaters. Thus the ability to digest meat discards any such indirect observations my point was that we dont have strong enough jaws to cut and tear through flesh like other carnivores or omnivores because we invented cooking. we dont need to bite off raw meat because cooking impacted our evolution. we are evolved to eat cooked meat. its in our dna. eating cooked meat is how nature meant us to be. our body doesnt have the mechanism of herbivores. we cant digest grass. our gut bacterial composition is different from that of cow or goat. our body cannot make the 9 essential amino acids. we have to eat it. yes, we can get all amino acids from vegan sources but the concentration is less. to get 60g protien you need to eat shitload of cooked dal, but 200g of chicken is enough. we need minimum of 0.8 grams of protein per 1kg body weight. yes we can get them from vegan sources, but its really difficult. athletes, body builders and children of growing age need more. but lets again look at evolution pov. 0.8g per kg is for sedentary people, back when we were hunter gatherers, everyone was physically active. depending on vegan sources for protien before agriculture would have left them severely malnourished. hence we evolved to eat meat. the term 'hunter gatherers' existed for a reason. the term is coined by historians, so dont tell me its a meat producers propaganda. there are cyp genes, fut 2, pep genes, etc which is in our dna to digest BOTH vegan and meat protein, thus we can digest both. the lct gene mutatation helped us digest milk beyond childhood. we are programmed to eat products of other animals. our body can only make non essential amino acids from carbs, not the essential ones. yes i know we can get vitamin d3 from sun. thats why i specified dietary source. fatty fish are the only reliable natural dietary source of vitamin d3 (you can get d2 from uv exposed mushrooms). I know both fats and carbs are used for energy. That's exactly my point. Relying solely on vegan protein goal skyrockets your calorie intake, risking obesity, diabetes, etc. You are not even understanding what my point is. Since when could you get essential amino acids from carbs and fats? Animals get protien from plants because they are a different specie and they can do it. Form your logic lions also should be able to get protien from plants? Why can't they? Because they are carnivorous. Why can't cow get protien from meat? Because they are herbivores. Why can we get from both? Because we are omnivores. Yes you do get cancer from uv. Dark skin of people historically living around equate and light skin of people further away is a proof of that. Melanin protects skip from uv. If you look into australia, skin cancer rates is very high. Fish is the best source of vitamin d, not sun. If you can't eat enough fish, then supplements. Do you have anything against science? There might have been propaganda funded researches but that doesn't mean whole of science is bogus. Propoganda researches are rare isolated incidents. That why a thing called peer reviewing exists. If one research is propaganda, other researchers from other parts of world can point it out. We didn't evolve from monkeys. Humans and monkeys had a common ancestor millions of years ago. Now we and them are totally different species. If meat was good enough then why invent agriculture? Because meat wasn't enough genius. Depending too much on red meat leaves you risk of cholesterol and gut cancer. We needed a better source of calories. Thus agriculture. But that doesn't mean meat is bad. It is still the best source of protein. Agriculture helped us properly integrate meat, vegetables, diary, grians and legumes to have a proper diet. Hunting was too risky, this we started farming animals also. Yes yogis lived healthy without meat. Does that mean meat is unnecessary? No! People who ate meat also lived healthy. People who eat balanced diet with meat and diary are equally or more healthy than vegans. Thus proving humans can eat meag. Just because some people (yogis) can doesnt mean others can aswell. There are healthy and unhealthy people in both vegans and non vegans. India has the highest case of protein deficiency, growth stunting, diabetes and vitamin d deficiency (even after being tropical country). Our unbalanced diet is the problem. Balanced diet consumes rarely get gut issues, if they get they get only due to genetics, not the diet. It's the people who eat too much meat who get it, not the balanced ones. But people who don't eat meat gets their share of problems as well. Overload of calories and fats in traditional Indian diet along with lack of adequate protien is leading cause of cholesterol and obesity in india. Out body follows quantum laws? Seriously, do you even know quantum mechanics? Or is it just a buzzword you heard in one of those psuedoscience vids? Explain exactly how 'quantum laws' affects diet? We can completely explain diet with molecular chemistry and thermodynamics. You have no idea what you are speaking about. You just watch psuedoscience confirming to your flawed biases and doesnt bother to listen any further. Hundreds of research and thousands of researchers, all from different parts of the world, with different ideologies, who all dedicated their life to study certain fields, all agree to certain things but they all are wrong. They all are funded. They all are propaganda. It's you and your traditions which are right. Great thinking sir

@@becomingwiser even if we could get complete protien and vitamins from vegetarian sources, there is no biological need to discard meat. Meat is food, meat is nutritious, meat is convenient. I am an omnivore so I can eat both. That is the way evolution intended me to be. The only need to discard meat comes form ethical and religious point of view. So don't say humans can't eat meat. There is NO downside to it. They absolutely biologically can, but they can choose not to, perhaps to reduce animal's suffering, or due to religion. That is their choice, and that's okay.
