Live music around St. Louis, Missouri. The PotBellyStove is where I mix together a collection of music from musicians that actually play their instruments.
I have music from my sons bands, there is some jazz , rock, and acoustic music. There are original songs as well as covers.
St. Louis has a rich and varied music community. My collection here is just a very small selection of what I have run across.
[Edits in Progress. Stay tuned]

Calypso, The Talking Quaker Parrot.
Today, Calypso is talking up a storm. I turned the camera on and left the room, and off he went. It's long, but he likes to watch himself on TV. Even after the camera was off, he talked the rest of the day.
Calypso likes to watch longer clips on his "Bird TV". Perhaps your birds will like to watch him too. He repeats himself quite a bit before he adds new words to his speeches. Hope you and your birds enjoy.
Someday there might be a Calypso fan club!

Cole, Shannon and Neill performing Cole's original, "Soda Jerk". A 1920's themed song about love and inspired by Cole's grandma This song is on Cole's debut album with Generations. We love hearing Shannon's harmonies added and Neill's groovy swing. Fun times. www.cbgenerations.com #coleadamsmusic #cbgenerations #americana #honkytonkpiano #flappers

TIMELINE If it’s all right, if you don’t mind We’ll keep stumbling upon one another Keeping my soul right in the sunlight Some years ago when we had time So much time to kill away This cannot be a universe to put us on a timeline It cannot be ‘cause I’m always moving backward in this life In this life, yeah It won’t ever stop, it will never change My love for you is blind and it will always be ...

When I was finally old enough to take a music class in grade school I took the fiddle so I could play like the old guy. I never did but Jim sure does and like it. Wagon Wheel covered by Typhoon Jackson For some reason I really like this song. It's not original, everybody has covered it and I really like it and I sure do like Jim's fiddle playin. "Wagon Wheel" (originally by Old Crow Medicine Show) Heading down south to the land of the pines I'm thumbing my way into North Carolina Staring up the road and pray to God I see headlights I made it down the coa...

Glenn Stephen had such a big heart in life that he made the choice of irrevocable organ donation and in his passing, that choice will make a difference for others. As a result, 3 families are celebrating a new lease on life for their loved one as they receive a special part of him. We are all very proud of his selfless decision and the impact that decision is able to make. ( A statement from his sister)
It's been a while since we have been there also. Wed jazz nite changed and I don't know where John and the guys are lately. Thanks for stopping in. Lots of clips of the various soulard groups. I really need to start getting out again.
