Popular for a day trip amongst residents and tourists alike, the 100 km round trip is a favourite of tour groups, cyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts keen to navigate the road as it twists and turns through beautiful mountains and forest. Take a stop at The Beautiful temples and take in the natural beauty. I great 100 km loop out of Chiang Mai and back.

I think it would be a great experience to see the Far East, especially Thailand and Malaysia. I don't have a passport, though. All the overseas travel I've done was when I was in the Army. Thank you for showing me some of the sights there, it's very interesting, and you're a great guide.
Hi Rob, I remember! Stay tuned, I'll be heading back to Thailand today and will cover some of Southern Thailand's best offerings. Safe travels 👍🏻🙏🏻
Hey Tim! You were my Uber driver on New Year's day in Portland! Wish we'd had more time to talk. Loving the videos! We are going on a 4-6 month journey through all of Thailand and Vietnam in the fall this year. With a little detour to Kuala Lumpur. We'll be watching all your videos til then! Happy travels!
Thank you for this video, I'd never heard of Hoi An.
Gross. Why would I want to look at a guy's legs. Sicko.
Its did say soliloquy 😂...roll over Shakespeare 😂

I love forests, and I'm starting to appreciate history more as I get older. This would be a great trip. I really liked this video.
What a serene and beautiful place. Thank you for taking us along.
That looks delicious. Especially that Khao Soi. Thank you for showing this.
I like eating food northern thai
What a nightmare! My heart goes out to you. All those urgent repairs, & your deadline is scarily close....
It's a pretty good mix of folks. It does tend to be a tourist spot so lots of people visiting.
Is it mostly people from other countries who watch the fights? Or is it popular with the local people too? It looks like it would be fascinating to spend some time there, just to browse the items at the bazaar.

Thanks, Tim! I wish I had the chance to see Thailand, it looks like there is so much beautiful and awe-inspiring scenery. And the people seem very friendly. Great videos.
Thanks! I'll probably never have a chance to get to Thailand, but I really enjoy the sights and your commentary. All the best to you, from your brother in Tennessee.
I love 💕 my pygmy hippotamuses🦛🦛
These are two beautiful looking hippos. 🥰
Great Video! Really helped me narrow down my selection. Did you book from their website? Did you pay a deposit or pay in full? How was the check-in process? Any unexpected dramas?
Had to watch it twice before I remembered. Duh!
Heh.
I got it. Cool!

Hello! nice trip, how to by the tickets? can I online?
Hi Tim, thanks for the information. Can I ask how you booked your train ticket? I am on the IRCTC app and it doesn’t recognise my international number and so I can receive the OTP to book tickets.
Great video, thanks.

Glad I could help.
Im excited to watch the other parts! I have questions that I’ll save until the end, if you haven’t addressed.
This seems like such a peaceful and happy trip. I'm delighted that you've had the chance to experience it, and grateful that you have brought us along.
Thanks so much for checking the videos out!
Did you have a drone? I have no idea how that would be arranged, or even if it would be allowed. I really enjoy your videos, and the quality of the footage is spectacular. Thank you!
Yes, drones can be flown in this area without any issue.
Thank you for taking us along. I'll never get to that part of the world, much less travel it on a bike. I'm very happy for you, having the chance to see all these amazing places. Safe and happy travels to you, Tim!
beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Fantastic job dave
Nice!
Awesome video! Just curious, is there any Chinese influence in Laos culture wise? I know you spoke of French colonialism.
You definitely see a strong Chinese influence as well.
Thank you! I'll probably never be able to travel overseas again, and my journeys were limited to Europe. I envy you a bit, being able to see this part of the world. I'm happy you're able to go and see these places, and share them with us. All the best to you, Tim!
Europe has many wonderful places to visit as well. Thank you for watching!
