Great job on the Media Lab AUA project. The episode was super interesting, and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves!
USAID has largely failed Armenians, during the Artsakh War & Genocide and throughout the treasonous governance of the Pashinyan regime. #ArrestNikol

AUA & the Paylans back the treasonous Pashinyan regime. #ArrestNikol
Very naive. Azerbaijan and Turkey are founded by the blood of Armenians and are nationalistic and islamic countries. They will never democratic countries
This is terrorist
Nobody went around like Paylan and asked victimized Jews (Armenians) to mitigate hatred in Nazi Germany (Nazi Turkey)! #ArrestNikol #FreeArtsakh #FreeWesternArmenia
Mr Paylan keeps diverting the attention from the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and Armenia’s true evil intent in occupying Azerbaijan to how bad Aliyev is. Aliyev might be the worst president in our universe, but doesn’t he have an obligation as a leader to protect its country’s legitimate borders and restore its territorial sovereignty? Isn’t it what Ukraine’s Zelensky doing right now? You don’t just say to your occupier that because I am a dictator and therefore it is ok to punish me by forcing my citizens out of their homes and annexing my lands to another country.
Absolutely nonsense. Azerbaidjan is the Aggressor as we have seen and still see. Azerbaidjan is an artificial country founded by Russia to keep Armenians weak
If Armenia indeed wants peace, it should end its territorial claims against Azerbaijan and Turkiye and stop fulfilling the unrealistic ambitions of its international diaspora. By occupying 20% of Azerbaijan’s legitimate territory with the hope to create a fake Armenian state in the heart of Azerbaijan, wasted 30 years, ended the lives of 40-50 thousand people, brought devastations and mass destructions, and destroyed hopes. For all of this, I blame Armenia and its diaspora “patriots”!
Found the Azerbaijani.
There is only one legitimate "Azerbaijan", formerly known as Atropatane, and that is territory located to the south of the Aras River inside Iran. There has never been an "Azerbaijan" to the north of Aras River in today's South Caucasus until it was artificially invented 106 years ago in 1918 by Lenin and Ataturk first for the homeless Caucasian Muslim Tatars and then renamed to "Azerbaijan" in 1936 despite protest from Iran for stealing the name. You are confusing "Aran" or Aghvank in Armenian for this newly-invented gas station of "Azerbaijan". This was a narrow strip of land on the Caspian coast and nowhere else!
@ sure, it is all yours, come and get it now.
You are calling Azerbaijan’s liberation of its legitimate and internationally recognized Karabakh region an “Artsakh genocide” but it was ok for Armenia to forcibly and barbarically displace one million ethnic Azerbaijani Turks from Armenia, Karabakh itself, and the seven adjacent districts? Can we call it Azerbaijani genocide?
Think about it and use some logic for a change. How can a territory with nearly all exclusive native Armenian population (95%) be under a hostile foreign Azerbaijani control? How can 150,000 Armenians find themselves hostages to an enemy Azerbaijani regime? The only logical answer is that this territory was taken away from the Armenians and annexed to Azerbaijan-SSR. In other words, Azerbaijan-SSR boundaries were extended to include this piece of Armenian territory. There is no other way a territory exclusively populated by Armenians can be part of an enemy state. If this territory was part of Azerbaijan, itself invented 106 years ago in 1918, there is no way Azerbaijan would have allowed its population to be exclusively Armenian when all other Armenian territories under Azerbaijan's control have been desecrated, destroyed and Turkified. Stop lying! You are your own worst enemies!
Do you think coming to the United States trying to talk to the American public and American diplomats and talking about Ukraine Russian war he came in and say who started the war first it was Russia against Russia started the war when they invaded Ukraine so if he can't even say that he can't even get in the damn door
Crimea was all way Ukraine and I Don't thank you know Ukraine history all the way back to 32000 years ago so you need to talk what you know and pick up a book about Ukrainian history
Mr. Palyan of course Turks #1 have to accept Armenian genocide then …
In 1991 the population of Nagorno - Karabakh (99,94 %) voted for the separation of the region from Azerbaijan and for the establishing of Nagorno - Karabakh Republic. According to the Central Committee of CPSU decision of 1954 a part of Russia (the Crimea) was cut off from Russia and transferred to the Ukaine; likewise the regions of Nagorno - Karabakh and Nahidjevan were cut off from Armenia and included into Azerbaijan as autonomous units. Armenians all over the world are apt to ask a question: Why the reunion of the Crimea with Russia as a right and an execution of will of the Russian people received juridical confirmation on the part of Russian state, but the people of Nagorno - Karabakh cannot enjoy the same right for their peaceful life?
You cannot create a “democracy” and a “sovereign” state in the heart of Azerbaijan by displacing others and conducting ethnic cleansing and then call it “Artsakh” republic. I am not sure how you came up with your Crimea excuse, but the international community and international laws always consider Crimea (just like Abkhazia and Southern Osetia of Georgia) as part of Ukraine.
With a respect to the speakers but, to fix Armenian, Greek and other nations genocide speaking, it is so easy just to punish the country who created extermination of armenian. if hundred years ago that country would be punished we would not face it of Armenian suffering today and other nations, by taking lives and motherland from them. German in Japanese fascist been punished and learned the lesson, so why a Turks was not. We wishing our identity and children for the last hundred years. enough is enough. The peace agreement will sign up only then ,when armenian from Artsarkh, will safely return back home. And never ever been used In international war between Russia, England, USA, Turkey, Azerbaijan. it is such a shame for our nation that we was not able to protect Nahidjevan, and other Armenian territories .
What I see a problematic understanding in terms of history..U heve been the attacker always interestingly u r the same complainer..look at the mirror..
Western Armenia will be free ✊🏼❤️✝️

First of all Armenians gave to stop teaching children to hate “dirty Turks”. Whatever happens in the relations between Armenia and Turkey, Azerbaijan starts from that hatred and territorial claims. And why you keep calling Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in some fictional name? Do you like Armenia being called Western Azerbaijan? This is where your problem? First you need to start respecting your neighbors.
The main reason of this war was Israel. They wanted to pull Iran into the war.
Western azrrbaijan and eastern They locates in north of Iran 🇮🇷 and the name of land is associated with attapatakan the greatest fire house of zoroasrian . And 100 years ago there was country called Azerbaijan.
@@vahekaloian5609in 1924 a country called “Iran” was established.
You people aren’t even from the Caucasus. You are central Asian. It’s not your land.
Mr Paylan has visionary ideas that I think Armenia must adopt.
And you need a change in your Armenophobic mindset
Unfortunately, Garo Paylan is supporting Dictator Erdogan in carrying out genocide to Gulen Movement(global education movement predominantly led by Muslim Turks) in Türkiye. So freedom for only Armenians, and some other minorities?? This is disgusting.
Don’t act so uneducated. It’s Türkiye not Turkey

Very insightful.
In a real interview one would ask him about accusing Armenia of Khojaly massacre, which has been proven to be an Azerbaijani hoax. But this was a softball, dull interview. Do your homework Dr. Vahram.
just like the artsakh "genocide" is a hoax. khojaly was real and Armenians like you denying it will just provide more people with ammunition to show that when it's Armenians committing genocide you guys also go full blown nazi denialism.
Quite an insightful and heavy hearted conversation. Thank you for this episode!
very interesting, especially highlighting women in business in a such a male dominated culture/economy
Very interesting discussion on the future of lake Sevan. Thank you.
This is such an interesting and insightful conversation!
Great interview and thank you for sharing this important information. Congratulations to AUA and everyone involved in achieving the maximum 10 year re-accreditation. Excellent work! It would be great to have more interviews like this between Dean Melkonian and President Boghosian on great events at AUA. This could be a wonderful monthly show.
As a junior from AUA, I am so so excited to experience this Media Lab at least for my upcoming last year! Keep up the good work, folks <3 P.S. Will be sure to hop by communications office, for those fruits 👀
