First time ever rippin' around the abandoned Dorais Velodrome in Detroit, Michigan. Met up with the Deathwish Motor Culture crew at Clem's Speed Shop in Clinton and then rode out. What a fun day!

2007 Chevy Silverado with Fox Shocks

Recently equipped my 2007 Chevy Silverado and took it to a local spot to test out the new reservoir Fox coilovers up front and shocks in the rear all put together with Total Chaos Fabrication upper uniball control arms. Definitely absorbs the bumps a lot better than stock!!

How hard was this swap? I’m thinking about putting the 100ci ultima on my heritage softail.
so far so good, in all aspects, with my Ultima 120 in my FXR frame
Great build. I got a ultima 127 in my kenny boyce fxr pro street frame. That motor is nasty. Great motor for the price. That motor will last you a good while depending on how hard you are on it. It's obviously not the level of an S&S but it's half the price also. I love the ultima crate motors. Stay alive on that thing. It's gonna be a rocket ship 🚀

I put my 127” in my 96 wide glide....if it wasn’t for my fat ass I couldn’t hold it on the road.

I have one in my ‘99 FLST that I bought from a friend, definitely worth it! 0-110mph in just a few heartbeats

If you haven’t done it yet, I don’t think you’d regret it. I have one in my ‘99 FLSTC, and that thing is fast!

I put a 127 in a fxr would wheelie and the brakes sucked up grade your brakes
They suck with a stock engine because of the old single piston caliper. I had dual discs with those on my 1988 FXR (got the kit when I bought the bike new) and upgrading to later takeoff four piston calipers was like night and day. I'm in process of putting an S&S V124 into the '88 which I'd already converted to a bagger box to get the spline shaft trans and lose the goofy oil tank. That was a very useful mod because it upgraded the starter from Hitachi to the more powerful Denso. He can order the later 39mm dual disc sliders and keep the rest of his forks.
So how's that motor workin' out for ya? Thinking about rebuilding an old Road King with one of those motors. Was looking at S&S, but found nothing but people complaining about 'em....
I have the 127ci Ultima Black Chrome and Ultima 6 speed in my Road King, have had zero issues with the motor/trans. Wife rides with alot so I have added alot of touring options..batwing, bars/lowers, original police hard bags, and a tour pack from a 2008 ultra just got added as well....motor doesnt care...it just goes....it easily wheelies if that's your thing....hope it helps.

I gotcha, i was very close to getting Bajakits chase kit for the front with new UCAs and King 2.5" coilovers but something came up.

Yea, that's it for now. Just got a job working for Roush so I'm thinking about getting rid of it and getting the new Raptor when it comes out...

So all you have is uniballl UCA's and fox shocks?
I think then I had 285's on it with KMC HD Hoss wheels. Not sure of the offset exactly but I'm running 35's now with diff drop brackets in the front and the shocks cranked up a little more with an 1.25" body lift. Clears pretty decent
What size tires, wheels and offset?
Yes, it's their 2.5 coilover reservoir kit with reservoir shocks in the rear too along with some Total Chaos uniball upper control arms. All together the kit was about $2400. Don't really have any other videos at the moment that I can think of.
