OMG Cindy … are you my sister from another mother. We share a smile.
We love Cindy!!!
Yeah and look up what they had to wear why dontcha. Yall are a joke ngl. Thats why you don't get as much views hahahahahahahahah
My middle son is in McKinney TX, he teaches private lessons for horn. He works with 4 school systems and keeps around 70/80 students. Always has his students going to state and they place. He always has a waiting list, this is because there are great band programs in TX.
Yay!!

Awesome!!
It’s important to keep yourself grounded. You get an MFA and spend 15 years doing community theatre to have your breakout on Broadway. BUT! You didn’t make it to Broadway. You took out a lot of debt and set your expectations super, super high just to lead an arts program at a rural high school. No, you will not have money for pyrotechnics and multiple costume changes. Those things are reserved for Broadway. Remember: stay focused and STAY GROUNDED!
We need this kind of unity and excitement back in our schools. We need to support, fund, and improve the width of what our children are learning!
Yessss
Question: What's a sacrifice show?
I want to preface this by saying I’m not a professional, I’m not even in a band, I’ve just played instruments since I was a little kid. With that out of the way, I think going to college with the intention of working in the music industry is just not worth it nowadays. It just seems to me, from an outside perspective, that plenty of people do just fine without any formal education. Anyone else feel this way? By no means am I saying it won’t help you out, I just don’t think it’s a necessity.
Burps on tape😂
Mental Wellness is so important, especially in the marching arts.
Very much so!
Excellent panel
The best!!!
We'll be getting them next year :D
Great!!!
So tired of oh you hurt my feelings bs.
Why?
O well
Free Palestinian people what about that
israel =/= all jewish people
🤣🤣🤣 they ass soft
Lol
How do you add audio to the picture
That’s a podcast. We have the video version also available
Not the DNC...
They were at the DNC
Its called copyright.. lmao
Copyright law if different for educational purposes and were also talking about clips generally under 30 seconds.
I was intrigued but there's zero information here. Not gonna get any subscribers with this one, guys.
Listen to the whole episode.
Disgusting
Why?
Do art for the retirement homes.
?
wtf
Fierce right?
Yes Ma’am! Good mouthpiece. Not great. But definitely at least good! And check their reeds daily section leaders!
Very this!
So happy you said yes! Knowing how late you started and how quickly you caught up in colorguard and the success you have achieved is a unique opportunity to share that education with kids. And having taught with you, I’ve seen it in action. Love to see it.
We love Nicole!!!
great to hear scott talk about our experience from his and the rest of the admin’s perspective. thanks for spotlighting him
We love Scott!
Jack I love how passionate you are about competitive parade marching contest. But.... you need to be careful not to end up interviewing yourself, instead of the guest you invited to share his multiple decades of experiences and knowledge. When you went on your personal monologue regarding the band you teach, it felt rude towards your guest who was politely waiting for you to stop talking and get back to interviewing him. It's just something to be mindful of.
Our Admin Volunteers Instructors Staff Are SUPERSTARS!!!!
Which corps???
There are 3 2023/22 Bushwackers in 2024 Crossmen 2 brass and a DM.
Awesome
Would love to have an episode on strictly all age and get members to share their experiences at Indy
We would totally do that as a round table!
@@Onawaterbreak really great episodes keep up the great work
@@dillonoxenreider4346 thanks!!! Glad you enjoy!
Way to go Scott and team!
It was so good!
BLOOOOO
!!!!!!!!
Unnecessary
Why?
Hehehehe, your day is coming my boy!
How so?
It’s a good year for BAC, for sure!!!
And getting better
Whp are the Cadets?
They were a DCI Corp that have been marching for many many years. They were loved by many people but unfortunately do to funding issues caused by controversies over the owner, they had to cease operations and they no longer march
Who are the Cadets???
You're joking
@@riythemusicguy7696 I'm not that knowledgeable about band or dci. Which is why I asked. I don't understand if they are high school or college students in these bands either. Are they professional?
@@figurinechamp6881 ohhh, my bad then. The cadets were a professional drum corps that had unfortunately folded this year. They were beloved by the DCI community and were incredibly iconic.
Stop spelling corps wrong.. its not core lmaoo
AI is TERRIBLE. We have turned off future captions! They are always wrong
It's not the maroon Cadet color. That is full on red so I could confidently say no
Well colors are relative.
Very interesting.
Very!
Marched ‘03, proud of my guys ! Bloooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Awesome
I just spent 2 weeks on tour at Vanguard. I'm a guard mom who did guard. Flo doesn't do the show justice. It's full of movement and skills. High level world class performers are in it.
Can’t wait to see it in person!!!
Also in DC the closest show is in Delaware.
Yeah that’s not fun!
As a blue star alumni I felt blue stars did not advertise this very well to alumni. Several alumni I know didn't even know it was happening and I wish that they had done the performance at champs
Crossmen are up for their 50th at championships this year
I really wish that Troopers would’ve played Devil Went Down to Georgia.
Yesssss
26:00 I think one reason the mandarins are so loud isnthe fact that they're the only drum corps right now thay has a dedicated trombone section. Of course not to say they don't also use a lot of air
We love them!
This DCI has little or no props. Since 1974, drum Corp is not the same.
Since 1974 cars aren’t the same either. Neither is tv, movies, art, the environment, society, culture, humanity. Should drum corps remain as it always was?
Has there been issues with uploading your podcasts? Seems like the last few are only showing the first minute.
No problems on our end. Are you maybe just watching the clips?
Can you update the timestamps to be accurate to the corps you are discussing?
AI can be so finicky sometimes 😝
