hello i have kenwood krf-v6300d can you tell me how to turn off the auto mute i dont have a remote control
good-looking budget speakers
fella i just want to say great job on the entire video , your video and explanation is by far the best on you tube , your video helped me connect my vintage pioneer hifi, thank you fella
Thank you ! For your input and for watching, of course !
Nice 👍
👍👍👍👍👍
SM stand for "security mechanism' It purpose was to increase stability and smooth passing of tape and to avoid a jammed tape in the cassettedeck.
@45oldies10 , I think I said Special Mechanism , while on the J card or the looped 0 card it says, Special Mechanics , in English and Spezial Mechanik , in German . But , I agree with how you described it works .
And what is this "Special Mechanism"?
......you can find out in the video..... precisely at 3:38
Super keen on one of these myself. Didn’t realise we got them here in Australia so I’m going to keep an eye out from now on. Where did you get yours?
@potatobull Hi I've picked up mine at Savers.
@@vidtech2630nice find! I’ll keep searching. Hopefully one day I’ll get lucky!
👍 perhaps, try on Gumtree......
Great review on this thanks. I was considering this from Jaycar too, but I may just spend a little more and get one off ali express. Jaycar do have a bigger model but it's $450 and considerably larger.
What is the price of it...tell me
$10
This is pointless

Got a Rudolph tape and VCR and turns out its a tape eater. It broke the Rudolph tape but oh well.
What’s the electric plug for?
Connectors for battery sense and charging , it connects to the internal voltage regulator.
Very nice amplifier at a great price these day. Solid sound and they pack a punch!
Thanks for uploading this! I grew up with this, my mom bought a tonne of these tapes back when she lived in the Middle East! Funny enough, were from the Philippines (just right above Indonesia) yet you could hardly find these there but theyre plentiful in places like Saudi and the UAE!
My kw rec don't have play and myEQ just hasLin andLoutso how do I cono
I don't see Play
EQonlyhas inand outi want to go just to recviecer
Reciver ? If you mean the main amp , than you would want to have a amplifier with Accessory conectors, you could plug it in there, in fact , I already have a video, describing this . It's in my "how yo connect " play list.
Almost as many as in a 19th century phone exchange, console . 😂
Would it be easier to connect every thing to a zone mixer And from zone mixer to eq than eq out to pre amp, amplifier Or Receiver.
I have a 4-WAY RCA Switch (4 IN 1 OUT) for turntable and 3 CD players (they are the old Sony jukebox players that hold 300 CDs each) The setup works just fine.
Это что, кассеты падают от вибрации колонок ? даже новые запечатанные кассеты- не жалко ))) ??
I have dent on my partybox 710 which toolkit is it
Hi , this kook kit , I purchased from a regular car parts store , also available at a tools stores etc.
I have one of these, a bit erratic at reading discs sometimes but still useable, very good sound, I really like it.
Pretty good CD player
Hi , Looks to be in pretty good shape. You gonna show how well it works in the next video ? I'd like to see that.
Hi , It's in good condition but it's just a video from a 0p shop . Asking price was anything but 0p shop price . It's been there for 4 weeks now , and it might be just a bit too expensive , unfortunately.
This is why I advise you to do this cleaning with a self-cleaning cassette.
Warning. Cleaning yourself is a Risk, be careful.
@andreracicot4881 yeah , if you use something like a pair of scissors, lol.
Good evening again, you can put an automatic cleaning audio cassette
Hi , I have already cleaned the head and pinch roller, manually.
I remember my last Wakeman it cost me 150.00 Canadian.
You know that this technology is very old and should be taken into consideration with caution.
Good evening sir. It would be good to do a complete restoration on the machine.
i had the non am/fm version of this, i think my friend shoplifted it from a kmart. it lasted from 1996 until ?????, it was with me through most of middle and all of high school haha. i don't remember it breaking, so it may still exist in a box in my parents house, but _that's_ not worth it.
Cool story !
I used one of these for some time back in the day. At the beginning of the 2010's I bought the WM-FX323 at a thrift store for next to nothing (5 bucks). It was just before these devices became valuable again. That model is the Auto Reverse version of this. I did not even notice when I bought it (a 5 buck buy doesn't need a lot of thinking over), and it was a very nice bonus. It was in the box, too, and while not sealed, it couldn't have seen much use, as it was very clean and nothing was worn at all, unlike how I remembered the other one being after years of use.
@BilisNegra Thank you, for sharing.
wow
I wish I could give this 100 thumbs up. I watched so many other videos and could not get my Yamaha EQ-70 to work with my tape deck. Vidtech is AWESOME!!!
Thank you, so mutch ! 😊
Just bought a silver one for 20usd. Can't wait to get all my stuff plugged in. Gonna have to either share inputs or get another splitter to run 6 sources
Interesting that mine has the power supply built in. Just has a standard north American plug sticking out
This would result in the best possible playback on a simple cassette player wiyhout type selector (or autamatic tape type selector) or dolby B. But can't your other decks handle a chrome tape with the proper chrome notches, besides the level?
It seems , not all decks can handle a true Cr02 type tape , to its optimum , as I point out in the video, my Denon dr-m24hx, originally cost twice as much as the Yamaha,. Can't do what I did on the Yamaha, even with similar settings , just can't record at that level. , without massive distortion. The originally even pricier ,Technics rs-b705 can match the Yamaha if I bias the tape to external tones, that has a manual tape type selector too ..All other decks I have tried, got to keep the level at 0 or below , otherwise distortion sets in after that. It looks like it depends more on the deck , not just the settings, other variables would be different cr02 tape formulations . It was a fun experiment to do ! Thanks for watching !
@@vidtech2630 I have a Yamaha deck aswell, and a european deck, so yes I'm a bit confused what the fuss was about. Both can record true chrome, with the Yamaha slightly lower level.
Well, and you just answered your own question . When you said it will record at a lower level.
Thank so much sir this video very helping, love your work, i just replacing all belt, dynamo and roller rubber near headtape, but still weak when forward and backward, sometimes the speed of play will normal if i used the tape for 5 minutes
I have a dent on my party box ultimate I would pay you to fix it 😂
yes definitely a type 1, but got no other information about it
nice one fella, done very well mostly one handed lol, got oil in the water on mine and no water in oil so gonna start with cooler seals, your vid has helped me heaps especially with the fuel pump timing thanks very much
@hunterschannel4364 Thank you , appreciate your feedback.
Great video, thank you!
Great deck had one when it first came out modern look compared to what ellse was available at the time in the 80s.Only now realise this was a capable machine in its day great look even now plus 30 years later.
Agree , as well as some not so common features , relating to the counter !
Good video, well explaned
Thanks, that's good to hear!
This is the only video I can find on the topic so far and it doesn’t even explain how to take off the back panel🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
with this all said and done then how do you hook up other components such as an am fm receiver vcr or ur tv to ur eq and amplifier you never mention output for your speakers
@MrDanHoagy Hi , there is a separate video on all that , it's called ;HOW TO CONNECT VINTAGE COMPONENT HI-FI.
Metal, being more durable than plastic, won't eventually crack the plastic it is glued into?
Hi , with that in mind I've also reduced the the tension, on that spring , by bending it.
It's also worth noting, the plastic peg was 3mm round , the cassette door arm is not hollow but , solid plastic 8mm thickness , and new metal peg is threaded , so the surface area , is significantly spread . As well as the efficancy and spring tension reduced of the shock absorber was improved . Thank you for your interest in the subject, and watching the video.
