Thanks ! Perhaps you could try cleaning the record switch and the record level potentiometers , with deoxid or similar.

One issue is , a lot of torque specs are omitted , even from the workshop manual, and do not exist on "paper" .

Hi , I'm guessing genuine , is way over priced ! The only thing that I can suggest is finding one on line , somewhere at a price you are happy with , and get it posted to you. Another alternative is finding a working used alternator at the wreckers. That's all I can suggest. As I have said in the video , I couldn't find anyone who stocks spares for them , like the brushes or the internal regulator . Hope that helps.

I'd recommend you check out a online owners manual , to find out . I no longer have either of these two. Thanks for watching.

Hi , you haven't done anything wrong ! With the amp you have that's all you can do. If you had an amp with ACCESSORY CONECTORS , than you could connect the EQ , so it works on all components.. I have a video on connecting such amp too. It's called ; HOW TO CONNECT EQUALISER TO AMP WITH PRE-AMP INPUTS. As mentioned earlier you would need a different amplifier to do that.

??? To get to the inner bearing , if the outer bearing is damaged, than you have to at least examine the inner bearing , no ? what's the point of doing half of the bearing ??

Brass washers you could try , buying from automotive spares store or a fastener supplier selling to public, O rings are also available in kit boxes in real brick stores. I got mine from a independent , diesel injection specialists workshop / spares carrier. I hope that helps.

As you might have noticed in the video , auto stop gadget is independent of the tape counter , in this deck , first thing I would look at, is , if the auto stop mechanism is installed correctly, including the spring and belt condition , it's all in the video. Good luck !

@JejaksiBoekir26 In the description, I have put a time ( 5:28 )stamp regarding the Auto Stop Mechanism and its belts.

Ok man. So in my deck sometime it worked, but mostly didnt. Also my tape counter have same issue, thats why i was guessinh the belts need to be replaced. But from your video, probably the sliding mechanism needs some lubricamt. I dont know man, still dont have courage to open up my deck like you did. But thanks anw for answering. Will try to find a repairman and hope he will be as good as you.

A lot depends on the cassette, if anything there is a touch of whine ,from the rewind/ fast forward motor/ mechanism , but nothing over the top The deck is fully original, including belts etc. All I did to it was , adjusted playback speed to synchronise all my other cassette decks , that were also speed set.

@@vidtech2630 fixed, it was the right hand reel catching on the red LED..

Did you try lubricating , the rewind motor , that could possibly help.

On this one , it doesn't say where it was made. But all components are Asian not German.

How can you tell , was there a sticker on it ? Mine is missing a sticker , but I think it was a Dolby licencing sticker , perhaps?

My memory might be incorrect, but there was a sticker on the back which is now not there that I 'thought' read made in Malaysia. I still have the original instruction manual with 7 European languages. The Saba Service-Organisation. Postfach 2060.7730 Villingen- Schwenningen. Listed also on the back page are service centers for many countries one for each country but 15 centers for Germany. Probably a German company.outsourcing manufacture in Malaysia. Funny how the sticker on mine is also missing.
