Sorry, 1985 and not 1988.
Thank you, Dr Bernard Cheong. He is an excellent doctor. I have known him since 1988 when I stayed at Bukit Batok. Whenever I was sick and not feeling well, I would look for him even though I was moving to Jelapang. I saw lots of doctors and found that my illness was not suitable for me and that I would recover soon. He is very patient and compassionate. He listened to you, and I gave him feedback about his medicine. He will change and suit your health. I am terrified that he will retire; I do not know when I can find a good doctor like him.

No doubt Sweet Charity is a great band, live performing band but they were not an original artistes. Most of the songs are 'cover' especially from Indonesian artistes ( 'Sejuta Wajah' album is the good example). They changed the lyrics and title of the original song making like their own material. The worst thing was they used people song like 'Come And Go' (The Trooper) changed to 'Datang Dan Pergi', 'Larantuka' (SAS) to 'Berita Gempa', 'Bunga Bunga Cinta' (originally are the Nazareth song in English version), put their name as a songwriter and lyricits. We still can tolerate with 'Teratai' and 'Kamelia' (both originally are the Indonesian songs under copyright control system) but when they robbed other people song and put their name as a composer people lost respect on them. Sorry to say, compare to Godbless (Indonesia legendary band), Sweet Charity are norhing.
Keep on rocking
👍👍👍👏👏👏💕
Sweet Charity the band hailed from Singapore a legend ,open my affection for rock music ,untill now age 55 I'm still into Sweet Charity music.

It's good to know that finally there's a documentary about this great band of all times.

The value of Death is Zilch. What a preposterous imagination.. Who can praise you from the grave? A live dog is better than a dead lion.
Great guy
Singapore are bound to have differences with the mass import of naturalised citizens bringing religions and culture.
Ask them to watch Crown Court more real.
Thank you Mr Ee for sharing your testimony. Indeed there will be times in life when you have to surrender yo God. To live a full life takes courage.
A respectable man
Rest in peace my brother
A very respectable man

Adrian, thanks for sharing. RIP, will always keep your book.
Rest in peace...we have never met personally..but along with a lot of Singaporeans i had great respects for your contributions...we studied in schools, around the same time.. and from time to time i have come across news about you and your good contributions..so i will miss that...some one from my cohort..who did great things for society...Condolences to your wife family and friends...and even in this clip you are making very valid points about life..insurance etc..Recently i saw a phrase on a wall..maybe it sounds macabre...it was that the "Aim of life seems to be death"...i pondered..is my view "NO"..or "maybe"...but after a few days of thinking i had my opinion ..its a "NO"... Because...the way we lived our life ...contributing to others...redefining how we lead our life..etc makes Life's aim far from being death itself..and its like "the journey one had experienced is more important than the destination"..and in that way..i am sure you had a nice journey...so i tell myself we will ALL meet... some day...when our time comes...and those who have lived a good life would be by His side...(if one is believer or just the same if they are not as a "happening"!).. Blessings and praises to your contributions and to have shaken and justified opinions... Rest now..and Bye for now...till we meet!!
Sad to hear he passed away. He is still looking quite good here.
RIP. LEGEND. May you rest in Jesus's embrace
A great man, AT. Greatly missed and RIP. Funny that across the world people are quite prepared to instruct the Vet to euthanize their beloved pets to save them from pain. Yet for humans, that doesn’t apply ( except for Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland , Oregon ).
well said Adrain. Sg dun have the support system for aged society. The G is not really seriously helping. Sg in that aspect is really falling short
What is his contribution to singapore? Whats his view on sg flavor of Rule of Law? Its surely not a means to an end? Why do people use the term Roti prata? Is he involved in Death Penalty of sg? Has he participated in cases against opposition? What is his view on the interpretation of law given the ambiguity that can exist in meaning of words? Has he RECUSED himself from some transactions in his life? In his view, is law Unhackable? Is law Morality and Ethics? Is someone consciously being politically correct a Dishonest Person? Is there such a person as the Arbiter of Truth? Can 2 judges give different verdicts ?
