The weekend's Oh Jesus Race - SBRR Inverted Grid Start
SCCA-MARRS Sprint Bracket Road Racing at Summit Point on July 21 2024. This is the final 10 lap race of the weekend with an inverted grid start. Meaning the faster cars are in the back and the slower cars up front. Which makes for an interesting first few laps. My goal was to keep the yellow SRF behind me.

This was my best lap time of the day. First time running this course with the chicane included. Which is a fun challenge! I missed a couple apexes on this lap that cost me time.

New Personal Best lap from Dominion Raceway

Only my second visit to this interesting and fun course at Dominion Raceway in Virginia. Managed a 1:31.62 lap. Here with the Washington DC Region SCCA time trials event on a beautiful spring day. My Scion FRS was enjoying the cool dry conditions.

Summit Point Jefferson Max4 Record

Last event of the year with @wdcr WDCR SCCA Time Trials and Northeast 86 Cup. Set a new Max 4 class record at the Jefferson circuit. Officially timed at 1:18.6 although the Garmin shows slightly less. This was the first morning timed session. There were a few wet patches from overnight rain I had to be careful with so there is probably a few tenths to be had yet.

This is my best lap of the weekend at Pittsburgh International Raceway on 8/27. Was good enough for a 1st in Max 4 class and top spot in Northeast 86 cup.

My last run of the weekend. Held on an amazing road in Flintstone, MD surrounded by some beautiful mountains. I improved my PB by over a second to 60.1. Put me 2nd in SMR class, 8th among production based cars, and 13th overall with 74 running. Unofficial results pahillclimb.org/results/

No. City park is open. They close Clymer st. and Duryea and part of Skyline drive for the event.

How much horsepower? Weight of car?
Just over 200 hp engine output. It's stock motor running E85. About at 2900 with me and fuel.

Awesome video! Your engine really sings too. Is it the original FA20? Burning E85?
Yes original engine, no internal mods. Has JDL 4-2-1 header with E85 tune.
Myself & a co-driver did an autocross event with 4 runs each on AO52 245/30/20 (all I could buy at the time) then 4 runs on RE71-RS 255/35/19. We both improved nearly .75 sec with the stones. Ryan Finch (co-driver) did a pretty cool video on TH-cam in a 2017 honda civic type r. He got top pax & raw with them. they are better than Falken rt660 also in my opinion.
