Part 1:- Was Vijaya bow of Karna Mahadeva's bow ? No. It was not. Vijaya bow was bow of Indra. From Indra it went to Parashurama and then to him as per Karna himsrlf. No where Vijaya bow is mentioned as bow of Mahadeva. Even Rukmi is descibred having Vijaya bow. So we don't know for sure who really had original Vijaya bow or karna was just bluffing. It is warrior who fights battles not bow. Victory and defeat depends on warriors. Karna himself was defeated on 17th day by Bhima with Vijaya bow in hand. Even Karna himself or Parashurama or Indra never made this absurd claim. The son of the wind god powerfully stretched the bow back, all the way up to his ears. Wishing to kill Karna, the great archer angrily released the arrow. Having been thus released by the powerful one, the arrow, with a sound like that of the vajra or thunder, struck Karna in that battle, with a force like that of the vajra against a mountain. So neither Vijaya bow was bow of Mahadeva , nor it was used in battle and destruction of Tripura and nor it gives any victory to wielder.

Arjun was powerful but not equal to suryaputra karn. karn was powerful than gandiva dhari Arjun.
