Not sure if its me but the parry window in coop is plain awful, ive gotten the same parries by myself but in multiplayer its wonky.
This was great fight and I will probably have to try this myself. I've been trying to beat him with unseathe Nagakiba, first phase was pretty easy but phase 2 is just no fun with all the lightshow going on

To be fair Consort Radahn is a lot smaller than Starscourge
@@PabIopiro true but you can't parry Mohg either, whose body Consort Radahn inhabits. It's just fight design choices at the end of the day so I'm not complaining or anything. Just thought it was interesting

Hey can someone help me, what is the best parry? The golden parry, the magic parry or the normal? I see a lot of vids, that people use this magic parry, but what is the difference between the golden parry?
carian retaliation is overall better imo, golden parry is great but it uses fp with every parry, while carian only uses fp when you parry spells. not to mention, they both have the same parry frames and a very forgiving start-up similar to the buckler

This is not the Sekiro Deflect mod from Nexus. Deflecting Hardtear doesn’t really work the same way.

Parrying is the go-to method to download sekiro-like bosses in elden ring
So something that worried me with this deflect tear was that there is still block stun so you can't perfect deflect if you get multiple times rapidly. But here it looks like every hit of a rapid combo is getting deflected if you perfect the first hit
yep thats how it works imp pretty sure
I tried it on Metyr and yeah, the deflect works on multihit combos (in her case, it was the side finger barrage she does if you are on her side)

I just spam block and it kinda always works even for attacks that have almost no time between them like radahn gravity balls
This boss is dog shit in my opinion. The attacks he has are just stupid like the light AOE, of course you can tank it but shouldn’t every attack a boss does be evadable in some way. You can run out of it but maybe you’ll make it once every 10 tries. Like cmon
The giant explosion is very easy to dodge though. Just lock off and immediately run in a straight line in a direction. Even if you can't get out in time, you can just hold guard and you won't get knocked down and will take reduced damage without getting punished hard since he's stuck in a long animation
It's not sekiro. You should use weapon to deflect and parry

Deflecting hardtear is my new favorite physic buff it’s such a fun tool.
How exactly does that tear work bro I got it I'm pretty sure from a furnace golem and didn't know what it does
@@parkseybeams2297 So basically when you block at the exact moment a enemy hits you, you will deflect it as if you was playing sekiro and you wont take any damage at all. As opposed to normal blocking and parrying. Its a useful tear but if you prefer dodging and rarely block or parry, then you dont need it

Fun fact: you can actually timed block all of radahns stone gravity balls he throws at you if you spam block fast enough xD same with his phase 2 beam aoe attacks, just spam block and hope
Honestly bro using summons on this fight almost makes it worse. He will randomly start agro on another half way through a combo, and his attacks are so wide even if you aren't his target, you still get caught up in his swings. I found it easier to just 1v1. Good run bro well done
Agree. Summons also add up +50% hp to the boss per summon. So 1v1 is the real way to tackle this boss
@@KenSiTruePWOnly Co-op or NPC summons do that. Summoning via dinner bell doesn’t affect boss health.

Congrats on the kill. Very good to see casual clears of this fight popping out on youtube. Lots of damage left on the table here by being conservative with R1 instead of better punishes (jump lights, crouch pokes and even charged R2s), but a clear is a clear. People need to stop overreacting to every new difficult boss From introduces in these games and embrace this initial challenge. These bosses seem only insurmountable for a brief period and the community forgot to embrace that feeling and the accomplishment that comes after and instead just cry "overtuned" "boring" "impossible" at the first opportunity.

@@victorbressler7156Tbh all they need to do is make the x slash more easier to dodge and reduce visual clutter on the holy magic and miquella's hair. Literally everything else has counter play that can be described in "Just dodge forward to the right." And "Hold block when you see a clone."

makes it so that if you block with the shield right before you get hit, you negate all damage
@@PandaSap with that tear, you can also parry without shield afaik. but a shiled is probably safer if you miss the timing window

Not sure if the crit thing is correct. I heard 2 handing or 1 handing does the same damage for crits despite the AR boost. Could be wrong though. Anyway, thanks for the vid and congrats! Just beat him myself without knowing you could block so much of his attacks lol.

Wow all them failed grabs, When I was fighting him he barely ever even went for a grab. He really wanted to give you a hug.
May have something to do with the blocking/parrying. I have noticed some enemies use more command grabs against blocking opponents
He grabbed my mimic, now i wonder if he can make it side against me

Sekiro parry is forgivable than any kind of parry timings in Elden Ring. I finished Sekiro while spamming the shit out of my L1. Easier timing my ass
