Looks like a good competitor to Cascadia 4x4 and their solar pannels. Since it's been a few months since the video, how's it holding up? Has there been any updates to the app? What was the experience with customer service when you needed the replacement? I got a jackery recently so looking for ways to keep it topped off when on trips while powering my 12v fridge. Prices of the lensun is reasonable too so hopefully would be a good buy. I've heard not so great things on cascadia so fingers crossed lol

My main question about this tank is that how are you able to tell how much is left in the tank? How are you monitoring the levels?

Great video, thanks for sharing! I'm doing this same project right now - couple of things: 1) follow torque specs on gas connection lines (along w/new crush washers, as you said) 2) test everything out before re-installing rear driveshaft 3) you really should replace that sock filter on your fuel pump 4) You really should replace all the gaskets and hoses while you are in there - rubber parts have a shelf life and these are old trucks.

I bought a 92 that has been sitting for over a year. Starts on starter fluid and runs well until you stop spraying the starter fluid. I'm replacing the fuel pump, but I'm going to clean the gunk out of the tank, lines, and injectors first. Haynes manual doesn't say anything about disconnecting the drive shaft, but the tank is definitely hung up on it.

Well you got it very wrong about everyone wanting the 93 up. The main reason i got my 80 is lack of electronics thats why i got a 91 model.

Nice video! How are these headlights compared to the factory headlights?

Side markers work wonderful plug and play. I bought direct fit replacements for the high and low forward beams (9005 and 9006) for my 1994 80 series. Fitment was straightforward and they worked great initially. After heating up, they started to flicker really bad. LASFIT is sending me canbus decoder harnesses that are supposed to fix the issue. I'll report back.

How are you going to deal with the pinion seal now?

I’ve been contemplating to try this on the leak that is coming from the front. Do you see any risks to the engine or power steering? I think my leak is coming from the same area. Did the friends who recommended this to you encounter any issues afterwards ?
