Yes, I like doing that sometimes, too! I’ve used Lulu.com and Ingramspark.com. I just order and print copies for myself without publishing them publicly. (Amazon requires you to sell them publicly to print copies. Their “proof” copies are just for checking your book before selling publicly, but they have a stripe on the outside saying “not for resale.”)

@@gulabsahu7374​​⁠ yes, when inserting pictures, just be sure to tap on them and look for the “arrange” tab on the format menu to choose whether or not you want the pictures to stay fixed on a page or move with the text when editing. That will save some trouble

Hi Frank, you can get a free ISBN from Amazon when you create your new book title on KDP. Just click the button saying you want a free ISBN, they'll display one, then you can add that to the interior of your book. I usually put it on the copyright page like this... ISBN: xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx or whatever the number is. If you're using another company, like lulu.com or ingramspark.com, they will also give you a free ISBN (unless something has changed) once you create your new title on their website

That may just mean it’s all in one PDF ready for printing. If you follow my layout and simply Export as PDF, that’s what I do (no crop marks or anything other than what is ready to be printed).

@@EricElder I am a subscriber. Tomorrow morning my goal is to have a split screen watching you format your book (I downloaded the Kindle version) on one side and my manuscript on the other. I will pause as needed and walk through step by step. I have a book already on Amazon. It was formatted by my former writing coach. I am thinking I should setup a template to use for the current book in process and future books too. Then I write future books in the template. The book in process is Marketplace Proverbs. A sales professional’s guide to Customer Success Mastery via the wisdom of Proverbs. 31 daily devos using verses that apply to serving in the marketplace. I feel the most fertile mission field on earth is the USA marketplace.
