    Got a lot of questions…..testing was a lot harder when I tested , you had to trim the horse not just clean the foot up a little. You had to shoe the entire horse not just one hoof. Seems these guys are not pressed for time .

    I'm sorry...not..but he hasn't got a clue on what he's really doing. Making heel height based on movement NO HE DOES NOT! He never really knew what he was doing and so as soon as someone else came along with an even worse trim he started following him and now they are "ramping" heel buttresses and deforming every foot they touch. ALL barefoot trims are based on one dead wild horse that wore her heels out that was found by Jamie Jackson that is what all these people trim and make every foot look like and they are crippling horses all over the world with their false doctrines but oh you will never hear about their FAILURES unless they can blame it on what a horse ate.

    • @epona9166
      @epona9166 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're done with your unprofessional unimpressive unconvincing little rant, I'll just say that if Pete Ramey had crippled horses all over the world, there would be abundant evidence of that. So unless and until you want to cite some examples, maybe give it a rest.

    • @thehappyhoof
      @thehappyhoof ปีที่แล้ว

      @@epona9166 First of all I am not a professional (THANK GOD), I am a horse owner turned researcher out of self defense after having my horses damaged with these very trims they promote. And not only that but along the way the last 18 years I have gathered up and heard several thousand testimonies of people who have also all either had barefoot trimmers do this trim or learned it themselves, which also damaged their horses. Why do you think you were even able to bring a shoe to the market? It was because these trims have massive failures. About every failed barefoot I know over the years has tried Epona shoes. So Pete there with his bullcrap deal on how he trims heels is as wrong as rain and then saying that wild horse had a club foot due to the fact he thought someone might see it actually had heels....now I know they are totally full of it. Nope not a professional, just a costomer/client/horse owner VICTUM, of faulty trimming practices. Now if you don't know that him saying "He bases how high to make the heels on how the horse moves." Then what the hell are you doing in that job where it might pay to know something about the anatomy of the horses foot.

And to my first wife Marisa. 😉 Remember, you now have at least, veterinarial academic and general medical lay practitioner knowledge, Horseman. Horseman. You have the absolute most non-veterinary knowledge (immediately off-hand, without supplementary reference or assistance) of any being in history - including, I think, even the horses themselves. Perhaps. Touch base with my folks and Marisa - and Marisa and I will ensure all that knowledge is non-evacuable. :::SCOTT ALAN MACIAG::: :::SCOTTY DUCATI::: :::YOUR LORD GOD::: (^My smallest title) :::ALL FATHER::: 🥰🥰🥰 Oo.

They said they could accelerate your Doctorate in the same to around six months flat. What I wanted (also to say), is that YOUR LORD ALL FATHER, is VERY PROUD to have been your student. A true honor Randel. 😉😊 I was almost killed by arsenic and other poisons just three days ago. Suddenly, (without consumption of *ANY* kind of recreational substance - or - change in diet or consumption of expired food), I was unable to, with all my winter clothes on and under sheets WITH comforter, to stay warm. It was if my body stopped heating itself suddenly, and kept getting gradually and gradually colder. Please reach out to Dr Ariel Zeigler (my psychologist) and Dr, Annadurai (my GI specialist) of the Manhattan Veteran's hospital on 23rd & 1st St. ***I'm also out of Prednisone. And in need of the same. It's best for me. I'd say, 40mg daily, with observation for any appreciable side effects. Need it overnighted. Explain why another time. My biggest hug to your daughter. 🥰Oo.

    "all people work off the medial aspect of their foot". ... Translation, all 'domestic' people work off the medial. That's because we're super toed out from shoes! Hence why we as humans have collapsed arches and tight posterior tibial tendons. It is well documented that a humans gait is way more in line with an even break over where footwear isn't as prominent. Also I think this is awesome and great and educational in terms of horses and smithing.

    How can a ferrier place nails to where they miss the wrong parts of the hoof. It seems like there isnt much room for error and I've seen some shod horses and the nails are quite a ways from the outer wall. It concerns me that's how horses could be getting abscesses and other diseases.

    • @BlackthorneBuilds
      @BlackthorneBuilds ปีที่แล้ว

      A very general answer simple way is to always make sure the nails don't enter the white line. If you keep the nails on the outside of the white line and you drive them with the beveled side facing in the nails will curve and arc away from sensitive tissue. Again, this is a very general and simplistic explanation, but a correctly set nail will not find sensitive tissue. It's more complicated than that, but thats the short answer.

The student spends most of his time telling the Master what he knows about Zen while the Master remains quite. There is more to the story and easy to Google it … This is a demo horse, they’ll see the horse one time. They are also on a fixed time.
