I get that people don't like this but keeping your windows and roof clean and free from snow and dirt is just common sense. How many times after a snow do you see people driving with just a little hole cleared from the window so they can see out? How many times do you see people driving with their entire rear window blocked? These are extremely dangerous situations to be driving under. You can easily hit a child playing in the snow. Use common sense folks and the police won't have to do stuff like this.

Securing batteries is next to impossible to do as they are in as many locations as 17 at my current count. There are also 12 volt secondaries hidden in as many locations. With the amount of electronics plugged into power systems to cars, with no back feed limiters, your electrical system can be charged at any time. The good thing is, that while we need to be aware of airbags, they just aren’t as dangerous as we have been lead to believe. In the last 20 years there has only been one documented airbag deployment that isn’t simply anecdotal ( this person says this person saw it). That single deployment was for a Mitsubishi galant in Ohio. The incident has been unable to be replicated in the same vehicle and no other airbag incidents are documented in North America or Great Britain. If someone has different information of an incident I would truly like to know about it as I’ve researched exhaustively without being able to find one. Of greater hazard are the actuators themselves. While some foolish training entities suggest you can cut through these with a sawzall slowly releasing pressure, there are incidents of rescuers being injured (none seriously) from cutting through these. Best recommendation, don’t waste time your trauma patient doesn’t have playing search for the battery. If it’s readily found go ahead, but assume the system is still charged. Do your peel and peaks religiously and avoid actuators.
