The Dimensions of Our Warfare, II Cor 3-4,Eph 6:10-13,Col 1:12-13, Steve Neumeyer, Transforming Word
Spiritual Warfare usually produces books on the best seller list. The topic of Exorcism often becomes the focal point of best-selling horror movies. But if we look in the Bible, we find these things to be very different than the hype that follows them.
Today Pastor Neumeyer opens with three verses that discuss spiritual warfare as they look at
(1) The Way We Think, (2) The Arena Where We Do Battle, and (3) The Kingdom Through Which You Fight.
Spiritual warfare doesn’t require special people, but it does require a special God inhabiting those people. The Spirit of God that comes to live in believers provoked them to constantly become aware of and to cast sin out of their own lives before they even begin to address the sin in the lives of others.
Spiritual warfare involves listening to the continuous direction of the Holy Spirit in the moment and then taking action in that moment.
Spiritual Warfare calls for “Relapse Prevention,” in that when the demon, habit, or thought pattern is driven out, an empty space is not left in someone’s life, but instead, the place where that negative once dwelt is filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit and His Passions.
You have been served a draft notice to enlist in the Army of God. Will you allow The Spirit to Equip you in the fullest ways possible?
The Dimensions of Our Warfare, II Corinthians, 3-4, Ephesians 6:10-13, Colossians 1:12-13

Jesus Matters, II Cor. 11:3-4, Gal. 1:1-9, Steve Neumeyer Preaching, Transforming Word Center

The Name of Jesus is recognized all over the world, being pronounced in a variety of ways and holding a variety of offices. There are many disagreements within Christianity about Versions of the Scripture, words spoken at baptism, and music used to adore Him, but it is absolutely essential that the Church is united in an agreement of who Jesus was and is. While the world, other religions, and e...

As the world faces natural disaster after natural disaster, politicians blame aerosol spray, bovine flatulence, and gas stoves, but when we search the Bible we find a worldwide flood, droughts, and pandemics in history had their origins in one issue … the issue of son. In Job’s day, Satan roamed to and fro upon the earth. He pointed out the sorry state of the human race, but the answer came in ...

In the New Year, Pastor Neumeyer stresses the need for the old, but solid Truths to be lead us forward. As Paul’s writing from Galatians is read we find that Paul was astonished that his followers had deserted The very Gospel that he had led them into and had blended religions that sounded pleasing to their ears. Paul was astonished that his followers had deserted the message of salvation at th...

As the New Year approaches, Pastor Neumeyer examines words inspired by the Holy Spirit, written down by the Prophet Isaiah, taken up and owned by the Lord Jesus, and assigned to the Believer, The Gospel of Luke records Jesus being born in the city of Prophecy, but growing up in the crude and seemingly insignificant town of Nazareth. Jesus was baptized in the Jordan by a controversial prophet na...

Christmas is filled with things demanding our priorities and attention, but only one thing matters. On that first Christmas, we remember that phrase, “No Room in the Inn.” Is there a place for Jesus in our homes, even when they become crowded with family at Christmas? On that first Christmas, there was no place in their schedule. Have you become so busy that time for Christ has been crowded our...

How important is the right timing… in music, in investments, in athletics? When we look at all of the times that things came together in the Bible and in our faith lives, we have to conclude that Christians are either THE MOST lucky people in the world or that there is a higher power coordinating their lives. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God and are call...

In the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Pastor Neumeyer examined the little noticed passage joining Old and New Testaments initially looking like just a long list of names, but containing some some awesome revelations. When we view the human lineage of Christ, we find some links that are prestigious, some links that are embarrassing, and some links that are outright criminals, but that ...

Consider the honorable office of Ambassador. That position is considered to be the most honorable one in the government, as a person is given the authority to represent the country before the world. And with that idea, Paul calls us “Ambassadors for Christ,” people of faith given the task of bringing Christ before the world and actually speaking the words of Christ and speaking them with the au...

A common mirror can be hated or it can be loved. We may look into it and see all of our faults or we may look into it and notice all of our better points. It’s all a matter of perspective. In today’s text, Paul uses the concept of a mirror as an object lesson. Typically when we look into a mirror, we do it to observe ourselves and consider what we look like to the world. But today’s Scripture a...

What kind of person does God accept? What kind of person does God reject? Today, the Spirit suggests that God is looking for FAT believers. That is not a reference to weight, but a code to remember the words Faithful, Available, Teachable. When the first two kings of Israel are considered, both had assets and both had liabilities. Saul, the first king, looked and sounded like a leader. True, he...

Pastor Neumeyer stops at the ministry of Elijah and Elisha for a session to ponder the idea of handing what God has given us to the next generation. The Spirit of God had led Elijah to the person that God had raised to step into Elijah’s position as prophet to Israel. After a time of training, the time came for Elijah to leave this world. Elisha’s first test came at Gilgal. Gilgal had been the ...

Pastor Neumeyer closes the series on Genesis by looking at the emotions presented that impacted the future of God’s people in the final chapter of the Book. The second term is “Familiar Place.” Although Egypt had provided for Jacob’s physical d...

Pastor Neumeyer brings a message from York, England, roughly an hour and a half north of the boyhood home of John and Charles Wesley. One item that will stand out through this entire chapter is the Silver Cup in the hands of Joseph. That cup was a mark...
