I don’t understand why you need to ‘can’ the jars. If they are sterile, pour in the marmalade and put screw-top lids on. That’s all I do. The hot marmalade cools and creates the vacuum seal. I’ve kept jars for three years sometimes 😁
It may not be totally necessary, but I like to err on the side of caution. 😊

I usually avoid cuts with such items by not rushing. I have a belief that rushing is sloppy. But regardless, I love this video, gurl! I like learning about new things. So tks!

WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THOSE AWESOME EXPENSIVE KIDS BANDAIDS HAVING NO STICK ANYWAY? DODGY
I KNOW RIGHT?!?! They're designed for kids, so you'd think they would make them hardy enough to withstand kid's wild shenanigans.
I made my first batch of marmalade a few months ago, it was good, needs some adjustments and learned a few things but keen to try it again. Where do you get your jars and lids from? I’ve been reusing my dolmio jars but would love proper jam jars
Good on you! I actually got the ball jars from big w a few years back, but they don't stock them anymore. I see a few on Facebook marketplace every now and then or amazon. But I think my new stockist is going to be Ball Mason Australia. Hope this helps 🥰
