Great pod as always boys! It is a treat listening to you two chatting about motorcycling. Also, great job at selecting awesome topics for discussion. 🙌🏽 The chill chinwag between you two is refreshing and the perfect wind-down material at the end of a long work day. Great job and keep going! 👍🏽👍🏽
Skip klr650 and get the new Himalayan 450.
I have a bobber and XC, both different tunes. I'm thinking of adding the new RS next year for all 3 lol It's already that Baja orange that I love, but if it has cast/ tubeless, thruxton tune, and fully adjustable suspension, I'm afraid I'll have to have a new 2023/24/25 bikes all at once🥹$$$
I have an old Brit Royal enfield Parts are dirt cheap its points and pushrod and reliable as fk does 30km/litre 300 on a tank the rear sprocket is rubber cush drive and in 2 years adjusted 2x? and its a daily driver Crash it its ALL metal #####$$#$$#$ your new bikes and Dear mr Honda WAKE UP
I think it's awesome that a fan made you a new logo and song. The logo looks fantastic! Keep up the good work on your podcast.
Great video, dudes
@@tonybalogna123 we really appreciate it! Hopefully we’ll have some good stories to share when we are back!
Love your podcast. Feels like I’m in the room listening to my friends talking about the shared passion of motorcycling. Big ups!!
@@SprocketScience1 thank you for listening! Ride safe!
I looked up motorcycle podcasts today on Apple Podcasts while I was driving home from work in my electric car lol. And I came by your guys podcast and I am now referring it to all my friends. You guys are very knowledgeable and I enjoy listening to you guys talk about motorcycles and your experiences and your opinions. I don’t know what views you guys get on your podcast on other media but I can’t believe your follower and view count is so low on TH-cam. You guys are new tho so stay positive I’m glad I came by your account so early and can’t wait to keep listening and watch you guys grow.
Thank you so much for listening and referring us to your friends! We’re definitely more audio centric but absolutely love seeing our listeners interact on TH-cam as well.
I was looking for a motorcycle podcast to binge on and so glad i found your show. Amazing stuff guys 👍 Im a sportbike rider myself but now i wanna get an adv 😂😂 i can’t have another one 😅
Thank you so much for listening! I mean we’re not gonna tell you not to buy an adv. A sport bike needs a friend 😉
It's encouraging to hear that more people use their close calls as learning experiences rather than just blaming the cars for everything. In my first season last year, I encountered almost *everything* we were warned about in the MSF course and had to use almost everything they taught us
It’s so true! And easy to encounter a close call and then almost immediately know what you did wrong haha. Glad to hear you’re keeping the MSF and your experiences in mind! Keep riding safe!
Just found your podcasts guys, thank you for the entertainment. Very refreshing and down to earth.
Good episode. I encourage you to attend the races in Austin. I have attended 6 times, once as a spectator and 5 times as a track marshal (volunteer on the track to pick up bikes that wreck at our corner). I attended a MotoGp race in Italy in 2017. It is a great sport and exciting to watch. I hope you will do other episodes on MotoGP, World Super Bikes and MotoAmerica. If you want information on volunteering let me know. Thanks Oz
Agree MotoAmerica / AMA would be a great topic to cover.
In NYC, I parked my ride out in the street. It was a less desirable Japanese item, so I wasn’t too worried about theft. For winter I put into family’s garage. My neighbor stores his Triple RS at the curb all winter in a half-cover. Gotta live on the wild side to ride😂
It’s nice to have the option of storing it somewhere for the winter months but props to your neighbor for living on the wild side. Thanks for listening! - Gleb
It’s nice to talk motorcycles. You are looking somewhere else other than the camera. Not so engaging. Best wishes. ❤
Thanks for listening! Our primary audience is on podcasting platforms and audio first. The video recording is primarily there as a way for us to also share our content on TH-cam - Gleb
Hi guys! Just discovered your podcast and love the casual, nonchalant way of discussing motorcycles by two good friends who love and enjoy motorcycles! Few big misses on motorcycles in popular media that could have been a part of discussion: 1. Che Guevara’s Norton 500 from The Motorcycle Diaries, 2. Ducati Sport 1000s and of course the Lightcycles from Tron: Legacy, and 3. Keanu Reeves’ love for vintage British bikes (especially his Vincent Black) and the fact that he founded Arch Motorcycles (also, the motorcycle chase scenes from Matrix movies). Keep up the good work lads! Absolutely love it ❤
I'm a college student and got lucky enough that a storage unit is only a 15 minute walk from my apartment, but when I was preparing to put my bike in the parking garage with my car, the plan was to get an alarmed disc lock and a chain, and chain the bike (either wheel or chassis) to my car wheel or something. Ideally I could just throw the chain in my car whenever I'm taking my bike out to ride, and when the bike is chained up it's between my car and nicely placed wall, so a person can't mess with it without being pretty inconvenienced or setting off the alarm, which is close enough to my apartment to hear. Though, my area is *relatively* low risk and I'm more worried about drunk college students messing with my bike than a van loading up with it Hopefully that gives you an idea or 2, like I said i found a good storage unit by sheer luck and I'll just make the walk to and from apartment most days
Also may or may not be helpful, but if you can fit a small/thin shelf in a storage unit, you can put your gear in the unit with your bike and save some weight. It beats walking back and forth with full gear on 😆 My 2012 STR is like 3 x 7, and a 5 x 10 is manageable
That’s some good luck there! Yeah drinks messing with a bike is definitely a concern. Luckily got an alarm disc on the way.
While fortunate to own a home with a separate garage to store my motorcycle (where it current sits as snow blankets the ground in my area of Montana), I feel Mitch's pain at not being able to "see" your bike every time you take out the trash or get in your car. I'm often surprised at the emotional connection I've made with my bike, even to the point of talking to it and or needing to physically touch it every time I go into the garage for other reasons. Keep up the great work guys. I really appreciate the work you are putting into these videos + podcasts. - Brad
Thanks for the kind words and support Brad! It seems like a common theme that we get bikes to take a hobby, but the emotional connection to our bikes is a like a love drug. Hopefully warm weather is on the way so the bike can come to the apartment complex
Sorry all, this episode was accidentally uploaded to the wrong TH-cam channel and I didn't catch it until now. But its up here now for your enjoyment. - Gleb
Really enjoyed this program and enjoy your podcast. Keep up the good work!
Hey Bradley, thank you so much for listening!
Thanks for reading my email. Love the show.
So glad I stumbled across the podcast on spotify! Such a great channel in many ways and I can’t wait to see you guys grow your following! I don’t hardly hear much about the Honda NC750x (DCT or standard). My great friend has a 2023 with DCT and it’s all around awesome in my opinion!I’d love to hear you guys tear into this one!
Thank you so much for listening and for the kind words! We haven’t had a chance to try out any of Hondas DCT bikes but we would definitely love to if we can get our hands on one. I’ve always heard great things about it! - Gleb
The SOS button exists since the 1250 - get yourself educated. There is a SIM card included and once the bike falls during motion it automatically sets up a communication to a rescue center. It transfers the position and impact data. Once you don't reply to the assistant, they send rescue. There is absolutely no interaction necessary from the driver. Works worldwide with working cellular reception. Additionally you can initiate it by manually pushing the button. Works as advertised. Ask me how I know. BTW, what is cleaning a chain?
Hey Joe! Thanks for letting us know how it works and that it’s also on the 1250 I may have misread the press release and didn’t double check whether it was new, new feature. Glad to hear it works as advertised! - Gleb
See, I decided early that my first year would be all solo and no comms or music- sort of treating it like the first year of driving a car. Even singing or talking to myself in the privacy of my helmet seems to distract me too much still, so im not really sure what next year will hold O.o
That’s a really good idea though. The music or even our own thoughts can get you into a bit of trouble if you’re not careful. How long have you been riding now?? I (Mitch) didn’t get a comm system for a little bit after I started. And even then I didn’t really use it until I was sure I could handle it. Once I did start riding with gleb though, the comms did come in handy especially for long rides. Happy trails and safe riding!
@@meech2dbeech593 I've been riding for about 4 months now, so still kind of a total noob lol. The way y'all talk about riding being meditative is absolutely true too. I've been purposely using bike time as time for just me, and time to put all my other daily thoughts (and anxiety) in a box and close the lid. It opens up a whole version of me that's calm and confident and absolutely present in the moment and nowhere else. I think maybe towards the end of this season I might try some rides with others, but im kinda leaning towards just leaving that for next year
There is a weird echo when Gleb is talking, otherwise, Great Show!
Thank you for letting us know! Something happened with the recording software. We’ll keep a better eye on it! Thank you for the support!
David here, I only have about 400 miles in right now, but will update in a few months.... Also posting videos on my channel of some rides.... Hoping to get a lot more miles in over this summer... Great show Dudes! Keep being awesome!

So just this week, yesterday and today, I was feeling confident enough to motorcycle to work and back! I live about 20mi from where I work, and its all county roads and such, so the early morning is actually quite nice with no one around. All last month and this month though, I've been practicing by taking my bike to a parking lot and doing a few maneuvers in safety before wandering around my little farm town. Two weekends ago, I made a practice run to my parent's house about 12mi away, just so I had a safe and welcoming destination that I didn't have to worry about :) I'd say that having a destination in mind keeps my focus on riding and not on "am I lost?"
Hi Sarah, That’s great! And I very good point. A set destination is a great way to reduce stress and keep the focus for your first ventures out on the road. Sounds like you’re doing great and becoming a better rider! Keep it up! 😎
Just stumbled upon you guys. Hope to see more soon! Going to watch the past episodes now haha.
Thank you so much for watching/listening!
Back again from Spotify, but here to engage the channel! It was actually this channel that helped me feel a bit better about getting the Rebel 500 as my first bike this month, even though all the rest of my homework said it was a good choice haha. Thanks for all your work!
Glad it helped!! The rebel 500 was a great first bike. I (Mitch) still miss mine at times, stay safe on the roads, and thank you again for engaging and listening. We appreciate it so much. And sorry for the big delay in replying!
@@TDTMotorcycles hey no big deal, the internet is a beautiful place where replies can be at leisure :) y'all are actively engaging your audience and that COUNTS! Looking forward to the next episode 🤘
Hey, I'm from the land of Spotify and just wanted to thank you gents for your hard work on this channel :) I'm taking the MSF course at the end of April, and I feel better about the whole thing and better about a calm skill trajectory as a beginner rider after absorbing these episodes!
Once again Sarah, thank you so much for letting us know how these episodes are helping. We are now about to the end of April. How did the MSF go for you??
@@TDTMotorcycles hey dudes! I PASSED my course on Sunday and I have a new license appointment scheduled for May 4 (Star Wars Day lmao)!! It's cold/raining this week where I am, but I'm mega excited to get out and practice as soon as it's safe to do so 🤘
Hey, I enjoyed your first episode! I own a 1989 Transalp and thought you did a good review of the new bike .
Thank you so much for watching/listening! We’d love to try one in person one day and see how it feels to ride. - Gleb
What’s up guys, just came across y’all on Apple Podcasts. I really enjoy how y’all present the information. And p.s. you got a gorgeous beard, mitch
Hey Zachary! The beard appreciates that XD. Thanks for listening and reaching out. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Notifications are on now 😅
