A truck Driver and GenX'er just trying to make a living and supporting my family. This channel is to show what it looks like from a truck drivers POV and what we deal with everyday. If words offend you then this ain't your channel, I don't have a filter. I'm not doing this for money or fame I'm doing this so people can see what we deal with on a daily basis with stupid people on the road.

Hell yeah.
Glad you enjoyed that video.
I was going to say you need a camera with better image stabilization... but then I realized that the post is about how bad the roads are. Message received, lol.
I do have a dash camera but I need to get a computer to upload the videos. So right now I'm having to use my phone that's in holder.
I've taken US 40 rather than I-70 quite a lot. The interstates are boring and overcrowded with packs of tractor trailer trucks and some who don't know how to drive safely. I will jump on the interstate if going thru St Louis.
I'm sorry that some BoanHead steering wheel holders can't drive. Not all truck drivers are like that.
@@Damien_D1977 Yes we still have good drivers out there. Just not as many as a lot of experienced drivers have left the business, never to return. I retired in 2017 and life has indeed been quite peaceful ever since. 41 years was enough (OTR, regional and local)
@@muffs55mercury61 I'm at 20 and close to giving it up. It just not how it used to be.
@@Damien_D1977 The driver facing cameras was the last straw for me. Otherwise I may have worked til about 2020 when COVID struck. No way was I going to keep running when I didn't know if I would be able to eat that day.
@@muffs55mercury61 I get that, I worked all through 2020 and it was brutal. As for the camera facing inside the truck, it doesn't bother me one bit. In fact my personal dash camera has one and it's helped with DOT when someone acts a fool.
A friend of mine, back in the 90s, was stopped while driving around 465 late at night with another friend. They were both blazing on mushrooms. They were stopped by a state police officer, and the officer asked my friend if he knew how fast he was driving. He replied “I don’t know… 65….70?” The state trooper said “ I had you clocked at 9 mph!!”
That's really funny, and knowing that Indiana state police really don't have much of a sense of humor makes it even funnier.
@ haha. I wish I could remember what the outcome of the encounter was. They both probably came down real quick.
@@erichimes3062 I'm betting so. 🤣
Hello for the other side of Wisconsin lol
I love the beauty of this state, especially in the winter time.
@ Well thank you! I love it here, too.
Get some Waffle House 🧇🧇
I'll be in Florida in a few days and I'm definitely going to get me some Waffle House. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and a wonderful week LT.. 🩵
Looks more like December 1st 2004
It felt like it, and it was great. 😊
So this is how a "Handicapped" can be killed early in the morning, by running a red light.... just so they wouldn't be behind a semi. If you can't drive don't get behind the wheel fucking "Handicapped" I can't say the "R" word so y'all are "Handicapped"
Be safe out there and Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving LT, hope it was a wonderful day.
Virginia? Consider yourself lucky that nothing crazy happened. If you were on I95, you would be moving 10 mph.
Why I like back roads better in Virginia. 🤣
I will never pay to park
Nor will I. We get charged enough as it is out here.
Hello, are you a driver for Walmart? I’m interested in using a referral code for that DC
No I was contracted with them for a month. It's a great company to work for though.
I couldn't do what you do buddy!!
Its definitely a lot to contend with on a daily basis.
Cj❤
Aw, from the first segment, I was thinking you two were gonna do some drag racing!!!! 😜😜
No I was heavy but knew what lane I needed to be in. I'll just back it off to let him go on. I'm gonna say he's never been that way before. 😁
@@Damien_D1977 I was kidding, but I do like those videos of semis drag racing .....on the dragstrip!
@@JamesSeaberry Oh I do as well.
A very memorable graduation
It was. ❤️
The Byrd is the Word.....LOL
@arkansaspoliceactivity Yes sir that's correct 😁💙
Why do idiots run the wipers when there's no need? Oh, company truck.
Why do idiots run 10-15 mph over the speed limit in a work zone???👍👍
Steering wheel holders all lined up trying to get into the Loves in Dandridge TN. Walk the fuel lanes at any Loves and you might actually see one out of ten trucks actually pumping fuel. Trucks backed up out into the street and blocking the exits too. Won't catch me trying to fuel there! I've fueled several times across the street at the Speedway.
Lol
Arkansas is a crazy, fun little state. I wish Brown's country Buffet in Benton was still around. 😢😢
Yes, I do to.
@@Damien_D1977 Nothing lasts forever.......
@@JamesSeaberry so true, Truck Driver for 20 years and I've seen some of the best places disappear. 😔😢
I use to love the frog legs at Browns!
@@arkansaspoliceactivity Oh, yeah.
What county was that please?
That was Clay County. South of Flora.
@@taradactyl5690 Ah, ok, thanks!!! I've been around there. Yes, a beautiful part of our flat state!
It's in the USA, in southern Illinois. As long as you stay out of the big city's it's a beautiful state.
@@Damien_D1977 Yes, Clay County. I know that area a bit.
@@JamesSeaberry Unfortunately I was going into Vienna Illinois and that's in Johnson county.
Hey Brother, stay safe out there on the road!!!!
I will LT, and you be safe as well. 💙
Home and you couldn't even see your family 😢
I know. 😔
If you think morning rush hour traffic is bad, try afternoon rush hour traffic!
Oh I already know, I try to avoid it if possible 😁.
Great driving, i am German live in Australia .Drove Brisbane to Melbourne. we have ROAD TRAINS. Look it up.
I'll definitely need to look that up, it sounds very interesting. Thank you for your driving.
On of the most toxic places in Kentucky, with the nuclear processing that area is ruined. From Erwin/Johnson City TN myself, another fine area ruined by nuclear fuel processing (NFS). Lord Jesus keep you safe sir, thank you for helping the people get our goods.
Your welcome.
Like watching 18 minutes of grass growing.
As do I sometimes, but I'll try and keep them short. Unfortunately I can't hold my phone when driving.
Kentucky Speedway is where Ford was parking all their trucks that were supposedly missing computer chips. I think they're exporting them out of the country.
Makes sense for Ford I guess. 👏
Thank you for the video my friend, I just subbed!
Your welcome sir. 💙
Truck drivers today aren’t like others in days gone past. They are just as rude as the brethren they film. Not all of course, just more than used to be. 🤷♂️
That's very true, I do have my days but I'm always courteous out here. I'm doing this channel as a way for the non-trucking community to see what happens out here.
I wish the gen pop knew how stressful it is to drive a loaded semi on the same road as people that cant even drive a manual transmission vehicle. Some may not understand what l mean ....and thats sad. I remember having to take a real driving test on paper in a classroom and then a test drive with a state trooper at the dmv when l got my liscence. Then when l had to renew it l had to use a computer. Now they just want your name so they can type it in and take your picture and push print and get you out. In my head i see a cash gun but loaded with driver licenses that are 1 size fits all and its on fully auto and theyre just spraying them out like its Vietnam and you got a beltfed M-60.
This is why I'm posting these videos. I'm tired of steering wheel holders. I've been out here for 20 years now and the industry needs to be cleaned up.
Too bad not all truck drivers can drive their trucks.
We call them people steering wheel holders. They think driving like idiots will get them somewhere faster.
Never was a game truck drivers cause the most wrecks it's easy to see on the interstate on a rainy day.
In the last 3 months I've seen more accidents with only car's then with semi's. A lot of accidents involving semi's, start because someone wasn't paying attention. It takes a semi 700' to stop on a dry day with a fully loaded trailer. So when someone wants to play games they lose.
Good. My dashcam catches all the bullshit games truck drivers like to play. So when i send video to whoever you work for, they'll match up to yours.
Go ahead, as I drive 5 under the speed limit on purpose so everyone else can just go ahead of me 😆.
Truck driver should be more focused on their driving, their issues are not games it is lack of attention!
I don't disagree. But there's a difference between steering wheel holders and truck drivers. Now that being said, in the last 3 months I've seen more accidents with just car's. So people driving car's have the same issue as steering wheel holders.
Cameras or not I respect those who share the road with me. I know you need 'em, but be reassured you won't need them with me in particular. Haul on brotha.
Thank you brotha.
But you know they'll use them to their advantage.
@@garys9694 Only if I was to do something dumb, but at that point I'd own up to it.
Good thing you know how to drive. Be careful out there ❤😊
Yes it is a good thing I know how to drive. 😊👏
Wouldnt need them if drivers got more than a couple weeks of training. Mega carriers will pile a ton of preventables on too so the drivers cant change companies.
that's true, and as truck drivers we need to clean up the industry and get the steering wheel holders out of here. But I have them up so if something happens that's not my fault I've got proof right then. After 20 of being out here I'm done playing games with people in cars as they are just as guilty.
Thats true.. sometimes we cant stop even if we wanted too… all these jerks cutting us off and brake checking us.. its enough man im fed up as well
That's why I've got so many dash cameras in my truck, 20 years and I'm tired of it.
My Dad was a truck driver when there was no automatic steering..❤❤❤❤❤
I hate automatic trucks, they shouldn't be out here.
They wouldn’t have gone to automatics if y’all could shift right.
@@NotchNate I can drive a manual transmission better than a automatic. Been out here a long time.
Hey
Hey back. Hope you like the videos.
Looking good ❤😊
Thank you 😊
So 70,000+ pound's for a GVWR acting like I was 120,000 pound's
So truck drivers always complain about not being able to get good parking places. Well here you go. This was at a Love's in Florida, there were trash cans just in front of my truck. Lazy drivers is the problem. In fact it's not just the steering wheel holders that's guilty of this, some professional drivers are guilty of it to. Do Better drivers.
So Western Express thought it would be a great idea to sit in front of the CAT scale at this Love's to take a 30 break. And this is why people cal them welfare express.
So this crazy storm came up quick and went away quickly, but St. Louis MO did get hit hard this same night.
I was actually on my way to the terminal to drop off a empty trailer and see about a alarm that's been going off in my truck for awhile. Just love driving in this area, for the trees. Later in the spring and summer it's really a beautiful area. Just watch out for the Deer that want to commit suicide. Lol😂😂
For anyone saying trucking is a easy thing to do, this is something we truck drivers face on a daily basis. It's not for everyone. I've been doing this for 20 years this year and I still find it a challenge every now and then.
