Would love to finish listening to this, but the video freezes at 14:50 (immediately following mention of co vid and transhumanism) and will not play.
Sorry about that, it seems OK to me, I can't reproduce your problem, maybe try again?
Thank you, Simon, for this interesting incite into G R Beasley Murray's work on the Book of Revelation
Coming to this late in the day, but thank you for Sally's Whitley lecture and the reactions to it.
Religion isn't the problem. If people want to be religious, that is their choice. Religions imposing their choices on other people is the problem.
As a former Baptist minister turned atheist, I cannot help but think, after watching this video, that expounding human rights in any cloak of religion, especially while quoting the Bible, pretends to ignore the real problem which is religion itself. Imagine condenming "tribalism" in the cloak of a biblical religion!
It's not at all clear what you mean, Gary. Would you be kind enough to restate it?
PAPEN: Paid, as Primality's Endosemperable Nationalities. (GRAIL).
I found this video helpful and the book though provoking. These are some of my thoughts: jrbpublications.wordpress.com/2024/09/03/baptist-identity-and-racism/
Really enjoyed this . Paul is still a regular at breakfast and the Bible at Chelmsford cathedral … lovely man , although we disagree on much .. I do have envy for his well worn sports jacket …
Thanks Andy. For those of us who sometimes have early morning school-run duties here in Australia, this recording is so valuable. Thanks!
